This happened to me a couple times. You make a booking well in advance and all but it end up being cancelled. Then the booker sometimes may offer to see someone else and you agree but then 30m later you get cancelled again. Then you go elsewhere and book someone else entirely unrelated and boom...

I don't think anyone is "scared" of agency owners in the pure sense of the word. They likely just "scared" of falling out of their good graces. I understand this. You want the best business relationship possible with agencies. Its 50/50. They see you as a good client and you can book "easily"...
