    My recent visit to Montreal

I haven't had the pleasure of visiting Montreal for at 5 years now, maybe more, so I was very excited for a recent trip.

What a shock I had, Hotel de la Montangue, closed, Thursdays, closed. Needless to say I was left asking cab drivers where I should go which did not work out well for me at all.

I would love to know where all those lovely ladies from those two spots now hang out.

    Thank-you,

    WT.

If you search the site there have been discussions about this. Search the old locations you are looking for and lounge area.
I do not think outside the box, I do not think inside the box, I do not even know where the box is.

I am open to new escorts, lol. I have tried to search articles but other then Sir Wintsons and Roxbury there aren't a mention of hotels where it was so open and available. I remember having happy hour drinks with SPs, chatting and then moving on to the main event. It was nice to be able to chat and build a little chemistry.

Montreal hotels are "guest-friendly" or "girl-friendly". You can research on MERB and go to the agency websites and book the escort to come to your hotel room at a designated time. She can generally go straight up to the room, or if an elevator key card is required, you meet her in the lobby. The hotel simply does not care. It is relatively rare that a Montreal hobbyist rejects a provider, but if she is unacceptable the normal etiquette is to give her $20 - $30, so that she can get a cab or have a drink while waiting for the agency driver. Same deal with an independent escort, although it might be relatively more rude to refuse her since it will be harder for her to replace the appointment. Once again, rejections seem to be rare, and agencies are very good about sending a replacement if that does happen.

Several Montreal agencies offer incall, in which case you go to the hotel, and wait in the lobby, or outside the hotel entrance, and they call to let you know the exact room number when the girl is ready for you to go to her room. As I learned from an incall agency in the United States (the guy was funny), the incall agency generally does not like it when you sit in the lobby and carefully repeat the room number out loud and write it down on a newspaper in front of everyone right before walking to the elevator.

Trust me, this is a lot easier than full service hunting at a strip joint or a hotel hooker bar. And if a provider has a lot of reviews, you should be able to know exactly what she looks like and what her services are before she goes up to your room.

OP maybe you were disappointed that Thursdays and HDLM were gone, but I hope this didn't prevent you from enjoying the hobby?

WT: I'd be interested in hearing your opinion about the hobby scene compared to 5 years ago....you can offer us a perspective with a fresh opinion from someone away for 5 years.
