I am currently 37 y/o and single and do not have and children. Over the past few years I have not made starting a family a priority due in part to my focus my career, as well as dealing with depression. My best friend recently had kid #2 and we got into a conversation about how recent health studies have shown that men's sperm begins to degrade in quality sometime in his 30s. As well, children born to fathers a over 35 have increased chance of genetic abnormalities, including Down syndrome and schizophrenia. Another friend recently decided to have his sperm frozen and stored in a sperm bank and recommended I do the same.
Any one else worried about their biological clock and thoughts on storing their sperm? Seems like few negatives other than the cost which I hear is only a couple thousand dollars (and the awkwardness of jerking off in a room into a cup).
