They will probably be a lot more lenient though. Knowing that you will get your trial postponed til next December. Costs a lot of money to prosecute .

This means that new laws can be passed to allow the LE to trap John's ( Hobbyist's ) its a win at the moment but wait for the Pendulum to swing back there will be some repercussions for sure. Hopefully SP's will have safer environment's to work under. Any thing that makes life safer for SP's is welcome.

Quebec will go for that for sure anything to Generate Tax Revenue. When they introduced the Legislation for Winter Tires the item which swung the debate and bought in the Legislation was not the safety aspect but the Tax Revenue it would and does generate for the Province. Expect the tax on Condoms to go up

Today is a great day for Canada, to all jealous, conservative, controlling people who like to preach to others how people should live their lives, a big F-YOU!!!!.

Best quote that I read today from another board after the ruling came down.

"Get this Judeo-Christian-Islamic culture out of our hearts, minds and bedrooms. This legislation has never existed for any purpose than to elevate those with pretentious religiosity above anyone living in the real world. These are the only true prostitutes and illegitimates!"

Isn't it great to be living in such an advanced society(Canada), today I became more proud of my country.

this is the next logical choice. hopefully, it'll be what they'll be doing but i'm still skeptical about the government/politicians. they tend to stick their head so far up their asses that we just don't know

Let's see...

It might be a good thing cause the economy is low and the fact that the prostitution have been discriminalized they will be able to fix things better with all those taxes and other Revenue..

Fees for licenses is one thing.

But as you know it is aways difficult to get a true accounting of "Cash Only" businesses if they want to try and hide part of their real income.

Nobody would ever cheat on their taxes. Would they?

    PLEASE!

This is a historical day for sex workers in Canada, and if you want my opinion, a landmark decision that will have an impact way beyond our boarders.

It's a day for celebrations! Could we please stay upbeat, just the moment of a thread, and take the opportunity to throw in our best wishes?
