Can anybody explain to my why I have to make appointments when going for an incall?

In many places in Europe, e.g. Germany, you go to a respective house, ring the door bell, go in side, the girls line up and you take your pick. If you don't like any of them you leave, but usually you have enough choices. Is this not possible in Montreal? Do I really have to make an appointment and run the risk that I don't like the girl - then what? Leave, make another phone call etc.? That's a bit annoying.

So - any advice, gentlemen? Thanks!

It's legality

It’s because you don’t want to run it like a business. A business is when you come and pick the girl with the owner/receptionist/host present. Of course, with law enforcement showing up, it’s the whole boat that goes down. If you show up at the apartment with only one girl present, law enforcement can only take that girl with a warrant, only that girl is arrested and not the owner as he can claim that she is only doing that on her own.
So it’s legal issue first of all.
Secondly, to call ahead is to reserve your girl. As some girls like to reserve his preferred girl ahead of time, like lunch time, he gets to see her. But then again they have people reserving but not showing up.
As for showing up and not liking the girl, you are more than welcomed to walk out or simply shorten your time with your host. Some agencies, when you mention ahead that you don’t like girls with a 7th toe can let you walk away or refer you to another girl once you see her. 7th toe is just an example.
