Thanks to early and upcoming inhereances I can basically fund the OAS, GIS and GAINS [ontario] between now and the time I am 67 with a bit extra for a car replacement and a tiny bit more.

Work? Fuck no. Even as I kid my career asperations were partly motivated by early pension [military] or high income for early retirement [medical]

I have my hobbies and interests, who has time for that. Also I stress out pretty easy. I suppose I'd consider some mcJob part time if I get the weight off in that the extra stream of cash would be nice and something social to do. Are there jobs I think I would like to do? I suppose. But they are not jobs I have much chance of getting. Actually I'd love to get a job as a bouncer at a quiet non ganster strip club. I got the size to do it and I am pleasant but I am not much of a fighter. Or perhaps as an escort driver. I wouldn't expect to have sex with these girls but it would be nice to spend some time around pretty females.

I must admit being that my hobbies and interests are pretty much all solitary it does get brutally lonely. My wealth and income levels are low enough to be undateable and in the last 10 years I'd made two sort of male friends I've had to ditch because I was better off alone. However there is no way I'd want to work full time.

Yes, part time, after taking a 6 month sabbatical to travel. My father retired at 56 with a great pension and I would be bored stiff having the same retirement he has. He does nothing more exciting than walking the dog and reading Money Magazine and the Wall Street Journal by the pool at his gated retirement community in Florida. He occasionally goes out for a lunch here and there with his fellow retirees. He is not into golf, or any sports. I would go bananas living in such a retirement. I need to be kept busy working on projects.

When I call my Dad and ask him what he did today, the answer I get is almost always the same......"I walked the dog....she got really scared by another dog.......went for lunch with [Joe Blow Fellow Retirees] and had a really good Grouper Sandwich (he loves Grouper Sandwiches)............I took your mother to the Doctor." I can fast forward and rewind and it is all the same stuff. My father seems to have a boredom shield of some kind that prevents him from experiencing boredom from what seems to be a fundamentally boring daily life.

Depends on how much the jackpot was. If it were a million or likely 650k after taxes then yes I would keep working a lot, i would actually expand my business. If it were like 100milion then i would downsize my current business but also start some others so I could give others a job and would also help others like family and friends. The only thing I might do for myself is have a few homes in various places and a few cars as well. I am too young to retire and just a party lifestyle everyday would get old so Yes even with 100mil i would still work, just not as hard but it definately would not feel like work.

I actually had the same idea as Iggy- pouring the money back into my business. First thing I would do is buy the building we occupy from underneath our cheap-ass landlord, before he has a chance to die or sell it. Then I would probably tell a few of the other commercial tenants who occupy our floor that I will not be renewing their leases, and to proceed to find new spaces for their businesses. Then I would implement some ideas I have with the spaces they occupy.

I actually already shared this vision with my office staff, and they know it is coming if I win the lottery.

No I would not work but I would stay busy by doing such things as travelling and screwing more often, one thing for sure that I would do is that I would never see snow for the rest of my life except in pictures.

Guys, the Canadian lottery has never been larger than 54 million; it is not likely to get larger than that. But the good news is the Canadian lottery is tax free, unlike the U.S. lottery.

I live a few km from the border crossing. Powerball and mega millions for the win baby.

so that means the 54 million canadian jackpot was about the same as a 108 million one here, so its basically the same

Look behind you.
I would stop what I am presently doing and build pro-street cars with my son in the summer and head to no snow in the winter.

Oh man, If I hit it big there would be no more 1 hour single sessions. All sessions would be 2-hour interactive threesomes. I would whore in Brazil and Argentina in our winter and Montreal and the FKK's in the summer. There would be semi-annual trips to Thailand and the Philippines. I would get myself a swinger SP wife and then I would proceed to cheat on her. I would have condo's in Montreal, Rio, and San Diego. I would host GG5 in my luxury condo in Montreal. I would challenge the new law in Montreal and I would use my money to make things more difficult for people I don't agree with that want to tell others how to live. I would retire but I wouldn't tell my wife and I would use my travel time to visit hobby destinations and say I was there on business.

Of course I would keep working.

I will reduce my work hours - and if that is not an option, I will leave my job and start worikng as an independent skilled worker in my profession. Work will simply be a way to spend some time doing something I like and have worked hard for so far. It won't be for money. So something like 10-20 hours of work a week. The in the remaining time I will learn many new skills by hiring professional like table tennis, dancing, cooking, boxing etc.
