Not looking to ask a question answered many times, but are the following hotels SP friendly?

- Hotel Omni
- Le Cantlie Suites
- Le Square Philip Hotel and Suites

SP Friendly- Does the SP provider have to check in at the front desk as a registered guest, or can she just walk to the elvator and then to my room?

I usually use the Sofitel, but my dates are not going to correspond with the room availabilities.

Thanks in advance!

Absolutely correct Capt. this is Montreal and it is understood. Some hotels have the dreaded key and I discovered recently that when you receive status at a hotel brand they may put you on a special floor where they protect the free Kellogg's Special K they give you complementary for breakfast by requiring a key to use the entire floor. Here is a tip. Just slip the doorman a 5$ or a 10$ and tell him that you are expecting a business associate. They will take them up to your room. After the session they will help you rate the girls and assign number values for your review. there may be a high five or two.

The Omni does not have the dreaded key elevators.

CaptRenault... I only ask and care because I'm usually travelling with upwards of 15 co-workers, some of which hobby... and some of which frown upon this hobby! Meeting certain co-workers in the lobby would create a weird situation that I would not want to deal with! At a dinner in Toronto last week, the women in our group read a newspaper article about the Bill C-36 for Canada.... it ignited a very hot topic at our table about Canada's proposed law change. The men at the table were all pretty quiet...hahaha. Anyway I would rather avoid it at all costs... LOL! Thats why I ask....and care who see's me in the lobby!

In Canada it may not be common to check in guests, but other cities like Barcelona and Sydney it was mandatory if you wanted a non-registered guest in your room. Some do not allow guests at all. It is there way of controlling prostitution in the tourist districts, and limiting private trade in their hotels.

I have read and contributed to the sp friendly hotel thread, a few years back now. I'm just making sure the Omni is still sp friendly and up to date. Maybe the Mods can clean this thread up and move it to the proper thread???

Cheers, I appreciate the feedback and the info!

Looking forward to a return to Montreal!

CaptRenault... hahaha, yea that scenario might get questioned by the fellow employees! LOL! We get rates at specific hotels in Halifax, QC, Montreal, TO and Vancouver. In Montreal this year, our rated hotels are Le St. Martin, Sofitel, Omni, and Crystal. Sofitel cannot accomodate this meet for us. Crystal and Le St. Martin are off my list due to key card or meet in the lobby! So the Omni it is. The other two I asked about was for curiosity, in case I stay longer after our meet.

Patron... Was in Barcelona July 15- 21 this year. Stayed on La Ramblas, at the Hotel Montecarlo. Fairly large hotel. In actual fact I was not allowed to have a guest in the room at this hotel. If i wanted to have a guest, it was to be in the main lobby meeting room... it was a nice room, but receiving BBBJ in there would def cause concern! LOL... just played the tourist role during that trip! It was wierd too, because there was always someone at the main door and the elevator. I mean always! But there are quite a few street hookers near the port on La Ramblas, so that may be the reason there! But the Montecarlo was closer to Catalunya square, away from the port.... so !?!?!?

A few hotels in Sydney, I had to register guests.. very swank hotels! May just have been part of the swank as opposed to precaution! Stayed at Harrah's before and was given a hard time bringing a business associate to the room.... where i actually told them to wait in the lobby, as it was seriously a thumb drive exchange! Also was given a bit of hassle at the Venetian in Vegas, nothing serious, but enough to draw attention from the crowds near by. In New York I have'nt stayed in the square... good to know, but I never did have an issue in New York!

Omni it is for this trip!

Toxic - I hear you brother. If I am with a large group of co-workers, I have changed clothe and hopped in a cab to an outcall
This is the only fool proof method when traveling with co-workers. See Brandi's comment below:
Worst case scenario do Incall :p

But if you do incall, One thing I will do is make sure I am not on the same floor or in adjoining rooms as my co-workers (hard to do if there is more than a couple). Then, if there is the dreaded elevator key I will slip the doorman 10$ and tell him that I am to meet an associate in a certain time frame and I will describer her. they will bring her up.

I was at the Marriott Courtyard in Centerville preparing for a session with an SP. If I remember correctly, they do not have the dreaded key elevators but after 10PM you have to be buzzed in or something like this??? So John of Eleganza tells me to meet the girl in the lobby. In preparation for our date, I went down stairs to borrow a few wine glasses from the restaurant/Lounge. Sitting in the lounge was the sales manager who recognized me. This was odd because the home office for him was Atlanta and I was based out of the Midwest. He insisted I have a drink with him....I just thought man this is a small world. There are eyes and ears everywhere! I am in Montreal Canada thinking I can hobby without ever getting busted and there is this co-worker.

Here's a clue. If the hotel has a four hour nap rate.... SP friendly. If they don't most girls don't have hooker written on their face so they look like anybody else, and as such will not subject to detainment, harrassment or even a second look. Jesus Christ where do some of you guys come from?

Mike.. I'm not worried about the hotel staff or the stranger in the corner at hotels... it's the people that i work and travel with. Some of them would question the girl i met in the lobby that I brought upstairs.

As it was said, this hobby seems to be well known in Montreal and accepted openly at the hotels, but that doesn't mean that your co-workers (who openly spoke against Canada's acceptance and tolerance of prostitution) will be very accepting of my interest in this hobby.

That said.. I've never stayed at a 4-hour nap rate hotel...LOL!

The last few times i've stayed at the Sheraton, a temporary security post was set up at the elevators area on weekends, sometimes after 7-8 pm. Over a month ago, i got back from a party and the two security officers were talking with a middle-aged couple and the guy had a bit too much to drink and was giving them a hard time. As he then made his way past them, one of the security people told them they were doing this for his security. He looked irritated and said "yeah, right!" I felt bad for the security guys since they have a job to do and are under orders to screen people coming in and out. Since its the hotel with the most beefed up security dept in Montreal, something must have happened in the past for them to implement this system on weekends.

I'm wondering if they'll allow escorts to go up to your room in such instance?

Last week i was in Toronto and i checked into a luxurious hotel. The gentleman who checked me in knew i was alone and asked me if i'd be expecting any guests later on who may spend the night with me (i kid you not!) and i replied no......and a few seconds later i said "but you never know what might come up later."

We both had a good laugh & he said something like "i'm sure you can find a way to make it happen, right?" And we both chuckled again. This was a high-end hotel which caters mostly to businessmen/lawyer types. If i was a local high-end sp, let's just say that i'd be spending a lot of time meeting lonely gentlemen in their beautiful bar.

You needed a room key to go up the floors via the elevator and i saw one of the ladies working at the lobby area use her key to let up some of the guests. I didnt see anyone on my trip, but if i would have wanted to, I wouldnt have hesitated to let them come over and see me since i had a feeling they were used to this type of thing. As a matter of fact, one night a somewhat intoxicated blond girl came out of the hotel and went back because she had forgot something. She got in the elevator with me. When i let her off on her floor, she looked at me flirtatiously, thanked me & gave me a kiss on the cheek before leaving the elevator. There was no doubt in my mind that she was an sp. But she wasn't my type (she had too many visible tatoos), so i didnt pursue the matter.

Is there such a thing as a non sp-friendly hotel if that's what a guest wants?? Okay, the security post situation at the Sheraton is an entirely different matter since i've only seen this set-up once over a year ago at the Omni Mont-Royal on New Year's Eve.
