What do you like to do in your free time? I know some of you really like watches a lot, but besides that? :)

I have always been a super-hero comic book reader and I still am today. Same with video games. Been playing since the Atari 2600 and I still play a lot, mostly on the computer. I also like movies, but mostly genre and sci-fi movies. I used to like comedy, but I got tired of the juvenile jokes about drugs and bodily functions.

When I was young, I got laughed at by other kids because of those hobbies. Now, I am almost a god to younger people for knowing so much about the super-heroes they see in the movies and video games in general! Things change! (although it is still hard to be taken seriously by women for not growing up lol)

EDIT: I made a typo in the title. I wrote "you" instead of your. It takes a guy who wrote a thread about grammar mistakes to make an obvious one that he can't edit!

Why does this feel like I'm writing a dating profile?

Diablo 3 ROS --- Needs to bring back that 3000% Legendary buff!!!!!!

You play on console or PC? I have Diablo 3 on PC but didn't get the expansion. After 2 hours of clicking, I kinda got bored lol I prefer online games like Starcraft or lately Heroes of the Storm (only in alpha but great game!)

Why does this feel like I'm writing a dating profile?

Nah. If it was a dating profile, it would look more like this: going to the gym (sorry Numerati!), camping, traveling, dining with friends and red wine. Every single person on these sites like those things. And I bet 90% of them do those things once every 3 years. Except for the wine. I guess. People aren't honest. It's not because I like to travel that I do it often. I wouldn't consider it a hobby because I did it once and liked it! :p

Sorry about that, got worked up over the hypocrisy of most of those people at those sites lol Which I didn't frequent in about 15 years so it might have changed. Hopefully :)

And now back to our regularly scheduled program!

I like sports hockey, I still play the game, scuba diving, and downhill skiing and I love old muscle cars. On summer I like to visit certain places to see old restored muscle cars ant see what the owner did with it. I like to dismantle engines and rebuild then and modifie them. It is a precision job and I like that.

I play it on the PC. D3 Vanilla was a mess especially with the Auction House. Glad it was closed down. The Reaper of Souls Expansion pack really made the game much much better. I don't own any gaming consoles btw. There are some things like Seasons that you can get on the PC that you can't get on the console though. What I like about D3 on console is that you can play offline. I used to play StarCraft. I own a copy of StarCraft 2 Wings of Liberty. Planning to get the final Legacy of the Void because it is a stand alone game and you don't need Wings of Liberty to play it.

cycling- i have found it the best way to keep in shape once you reach middle age. also, i usually incorporate cycling into my travels since it provides a more up-close experience.

i will cycle outside until my usual route becomes too icey and many years i have cycled into january. i can usually dress warm enough to tolerate the cold- i use the same layered clothing that i use for nordic skiing. i then move the bike inside and use it as a stationary bike. i purchased a CycleOps stand which was relatively inexpensive and works well. i have the bike positioned in the basement in front of a projection tv so that i can cycle while watching sporting events and i find this relieves much of the boredom. this year i have already moved my bike inside due to our early snowstorm and lingering ice. i have become a bit of a cylcing fanatic since i have found it to be low impact and about the only aerobic exercise that i can maintain for an hour or two. i would highly recommend it to anyone getting a little older and trying to keep their weight down and maintain a reasonable level of fitness. i had knee problems when i participated in sports during my youth and i can say that since i have been cycling i have not had any muscle or joint problems. the only health related "problem" that i had was once my psa jumped up from 1 to 10. my doctor was quite shocked and had me see an urologist. it appears that the high psa was because i was riding too far forward on my seat and the seat was pressing against my prostate. anyway i am sure that this is more than you really wanted to know.

These are my main hobbies... I have other stuff like playing D&D and MTG once a week.

I only own a WiiU and it has the best game for me. I am a sucker for Mario Bros, Mario Kart and all those Nintendo games. Although I don't play that much on console.

I used to play Starcraft a LOT. I haven't played in a year and a half, but probably will pick up Legacy of the Void. I said I was addicted to Heroes of the Storm, but I also really like Hearthstone. It's like a Magic the Gathering game but less complicated and online. It's great even for those who never played card games before. Speaking of Magic...

Can I even say here whats my hobbies when you are referring the hobbyist and I'm supose to be the Hobby! :p

Who said hobbies can't have hobbies? lol If you like Magic and have a computer or tablet, you should try the aforementioned Hearthstone. Great game and you don't need any real life friends to play it! Perfect for me! lol

Magic the Gathering that still exist???

Yes it does. When it first came out, I tried it and it was too complicated, everybody had their own rules. So I gave up. I thought it was going to be a fad and over in 6 months anyways. I guess not. lol There are still a lot of big tournaments and professional players playing it. Yeah, I was surprised too :)

I had Hearthstone on my iPad for a while. Seeing how addictive the game can be I had to uninstall it. One Blizzard game (Diablo 3 ROS) is enough for me. LOL. Getting to get bored with ROS too since it is becoming an endless boring grind. I was addicted to StarCraft at one time but got bored with it after a while. Haven't touched the game in years especially with the recent updates and patches the game changed and didn't like the changes.

After I get tired of D3 ROS I think I am going to leave it at that and not dealing with video games anymore.

In the summer I play golf, beach volleyball and soccer. In the winter alpine skiing and indoor soccer.

I am a big sports fan too so I watch a lot of sports on TV when I am not playing one.
