    Condoleeza Rice in Canada tomorrow

She will be making her first official state visit to Canada tomorrow and Tuesday in Ottawa. She will be spending most of her time discussing issues of mutual concern with Foreign Affairs Minister Pierre Pettigrew, and to a lesser extent, PM Martin.

    Duo

Can I get on the duo action? Even better can we bring Belinda in to make it a truly multicultural event.

I like Condi. It's a good thing to have someone with culture at the White House (let's not forget she's a concert pianist as well as a scholar).

    A good thing

It is a good thing to have anything other than white middle age, christian revival alleluya, annal retentive, war mongering, short sigthed, new republican, lying, southern, oil -cow ranching politicians in Washington.

And by the way I'm a conservative - republican

You may get your wish! The State Dept. website has a good picture of the 2 of them together, sharing a laugh.

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder, for i don't find her so hard to look at. Overall, she seems to be an exceptional women. The only thing i dislike about her was her hawkish stance on Iraq.

yes but... i would nevertheless consider Condi to be among the people who lied about Iraq and who are war mongerers. Maybe if she becomes president, she will adopt a style of her own that will enable her to distance herself from the GW Bush era.
