I will be visiting Toronto next week and I was wondering how the SPs compare to those in Montreal. I'm checking out agencies like Cupids and it costs about 300/h. Are the girls better or just more expensive ?

Service and selection are comparable in Toronto, but typical rates are higher than in Montreal (300 hr outcall vs. 220 or 240 in Mtl).
Among the better-reviewed agencies are Cupid's/Vixens/Garden of Eden for outcalls, and Select/Mirage for both incall/outcall (to name a few).

I've heard great things about Mirage. They have a fairly large roster & many of their girls come from Montreal. It's a tad pricier, but then again, the cost of living in Toronto is higher than anywhere else in Canada & many johns are high-priced executives & professional athletes with large bank accounts. A Mtl escort whom i was friends with several years ago tried out the Toronto scene & told me the types of clients she'd see in Toronto as compared to Mtl was like night and day. She swore to me she'd never work as an escort again in Montreal. And surprisingly, she never did again. She retired once she was done with Toronto.

I concur mostly.

Often 220 in Mtl. Cupid's (of those, a bit on the higher end, as I recall) is 270.

I'd say it is personal and hard to know. There is some good and some bad in both places.
If I had to guess, based on my own experiences, ... I have had some wonderful experiences both places....
If I had to guess (based on really not enough experience, but who statistically really has enough....).... things typically a bit better in MTL.
I think in a way, the rates reflect that... more (good) supply versus demand. Hence a lower rate in MTL.

Always YMMV.

It is really not about the 'market'. It is about the person you just saw or will see soon. Good luck and bon courage!

I like to add to Doc Holliday's post the biggest thing about Toronto is that the population there is nearly double that of Montreal and the supply in Toronto is far less then Montreal. So in any law of economics it is obvious what will happen.

Is there any reason why the supply is far less in Toronto than Montreal?

The one time I hobbied in Toronto I stayed away from the Montreal girls. They have much more flavors to offer!

I found outcalls a bit of a workout to arrange depending on your location. I was located in a hotel on Yonge street a couple of big blocks away from Brass Rail and it took me like 3-4 calls before I could arrange something. But in the end I lucked out with a lovely latina.

Maybe to keep rates up? This seems to apply to everything in Toronto. Fastfood restaurants, grocery stores, etc... Everything was so spread out. One store then drive so much. Montreal you can find two grocery stores not far from each other.

Not really; the rate differential is largely due to the difference in average wage and cost of living between Toronto and Montreal, more than any perceived 'supply/demand' issue.

While Montreal's scene is legendary, I'd be hard-pressed to say it is larger in absolute terms, but is definitely far more concentrated within the core.

I would agree that the supply isn't there... Because when you call one those top agencies, a lot of the girls get fully booked quick. I remember going for Toronto a week for a tournament and called almost everyday. I got nothing setup. You gotta pre-book I guess. I think in mtl, we promote first come first serve more.
