Les rebelles planifient de faire un tour aux USA et je me demandais si vous auriez des suggestions, des recommandations ou des mises en gardes.

    Merci

Interesting concept. Advertise on The Erotic Review and post on their board. In the NYC area, try Secaucus, NJ (close to where the Jets and Giants play), in NYC, the NY "red light district", if there is one, is close to the UN or Grand Central Terminal. Try to stick to that neighborhood if you're not familiar with the city. It's not really a bad neighborhood, and hotel prices should go down in the fall. You can also try Long Island, or Stamford, CT. A lot of indies/agencies appear in these places on occasion. Good luck. I can probably give you a little more via PM if you're interested. Not much more, but a little more...

Oh, I missed the "legislation differences" thing in the title of your post. Escorting only exists in NY because LE more or less ignores it. It's totally illegal here. First offense in NY State is up to a $1,000 fine and a year in prison. In reality, the punishment for a first offense is a slap on the wrist. It really is difficult to get arrested doing this silliness! Nobody cares. Just keep what you're doing on the DL and nobody will say anything about it.

Hmm..I hope you realize that this is a risky undertaking. That's not to say that you shouldn't do it, but you need to do some research and plan carefully.

As I'm sure you know, prostitution is illegal everywhere in the U.S. except in certain rural counties of Nevada (which does not include Vegas). Having said that, there are prostitutes who operate fairly safely and clients who use them without much trouble almost everywhere in the U.S. But it's not like Montreal where, despite C-36, outcall-escort style prostitution still operates much as it has for the past 20 years.

I think you should start by familiarizing yourself with the main online sites used by escorts and clients in the U.S. These are The Erotic Review dot com, Eros dot com and 411 dot com. I think you should consider using these sites (as well as MERB) to advertise and connect with potential clients. If you go to areas where there are already a lot of MERBites (like Boston and New York), then you have a good start on getting some clients. But, to attract enough clents, you will probably want to attract non-MERBite clients too. Those three sites are a good way to market yourself.

Whatever you do, be discreet. Young atrractive women crossing the border can be subjected to extra questioning by U.S. passport control officials. In years past, Montreal escorts were crossing the border on a regular basis to work in the U.S. and the passport people got wise to them and subjected them to extra interrogation.

Anyone who comes to the U.S. needs a good cover story. You will be asked questions like where you are going and why; where are you staying; whom will you be seeing, if anyone? It's OK to play the role of innocent tourist but you should have well prepared answers to those questions, for example, "I'm going to New York to go shopping, visit the Metropolitan Museum, see the Statue of Liberty and go to a show. I will be staying with my friend Susan or at the Hilton Hotel on 7th Ave. Then I'm going to Washington to see the White House and the National Gallery."

If you have girls who are already familiar with certain cities and have a record of visiting them, then sending them would be good. A first time visitor should be given some good coaching before departure.

I wouldn't carry anything that would give a clue about the real purpose of the visit. So don't bring a bunch of sexy lingerie, toys or anything that would connect you to your line of work.

I think it's possible for such a venture to be a success, but do some careful research and planning before you undertake it.
Strasser: By the way, the murder of the couriers, what has been done?
Renault: Realizing the importance of the case, my men are rounding up twice the usual number of suspects.
Heinze: We already know who the murderer is.
Strasser: Good. Is he in custody?
Renault: Oh, there's no hurry. Tonight he'll be at Rick's. Everybody comes to Rick's.

There are more problems and risks than you can shake a stick at, when doing this at an organized, agency level.

Agency Escorting is not ignored by law enforcement, they cannot directly "stop it" because it is legal to sell time and companionship in the United States, if all licenses are obtained. The problem is that a foreign outfit is not going to be able to obtain those licenses, and that may make them an instant target for law enforcement, especially if the providers claim to be entering for tourism.

The key to avoiding problems with law enforcement in the States is thorough screening that never allows a cop to get into the room with the provider. It is a disaster if that happens, because few providers can handle it - especially the young ones. You do not mention how you plan to screen. Every agency that makes it in the States screens the hell out of customers to keep the cops out of the picture.

Another big issue is of course the cash, which has been discussed in other threads. We have a lovely civil forfeiture system in this country where the cops can seize assets, especially cash, based only upon reasonable suspicion of crimes. And the person who had the assets seized has to prove innocence in order to get the cash back. This is especially worrisome when cash is in hotel safes and in suitcases crossing borders - situations in which law enforcement can open anything they want at will.

What might work for the occasional low-activity, low-target Canadian independent escort touring the United States will not necessarily work for an agency. It will be looked upon as international human trafficking if done by an agency, with potential notice by federal law enforcement. A lot of bad things can happen.

Come to think of it, it might be better for your ladies to fly into NY instead of driving. The border guards at the airports aren't as gung-ho as those guys standing on the Canadian border. I think those guys need to get laid a bit more often.

Come to think of it gurgeh85 , gung-ho is the right way to describe them ,not forgeting the US border patrols of course in that description .

A Canadian citizen is always vulnerable to them, if they lied ,to go in ,one of my friends was detained ,for two weeks ,before being released ,he was from Montreal and entered at Lacolle and was released in the TO area ,very convenient ,because he was processed in Buffalo NY
    Risky ,Risky business

    Cheers

Im still figuring out how this site works/if there are private messaging capabilities etc. so excuse me if Im not replying properly, but Id be glad to help you figure out the ins and outs and wheres and hows of the US. There are definite differences in a few of the states, for both providers and hobbyists. Too much info to post here, but one of my fav places to tour was Washington DC or Boston suburbs, a few west coast cities are good and a few of the south to avoid. Different ad boards are popular in various areas, I was primarily a TER girl when I was working in my hometown. (I was established & reviewed under a different name)

Best thing I could suggest is to call or email me directly while Im here in Canada and I will do my best to walk you through a few things. *although my French is non existent sooooo....

Raquelminx@gmail.com or 514-293-9755 (website is yet to come)

p.s. if anyone feels like reaching out to me in return re: Canadian "customs" (ad boards, screening, considerations etc.) it would be much appreciated! Thank you
