How did you feel when your kids left home to fly on their own ?
My son recently graduated from university with his Master Degree and he accepted an offer in Toronto. He is on his own. Even though we know that this day will come. In my case, I am still "fragile". I found it difficult.
It is part of the cycle of life, but still it is a tough step.
What about you ?
I know the feeling.
You did everything you could and he left with a masters..
Having a multi unit dwelling, I was able have them as tenants , so gradually less control and easier to cut the strings.
As tenants it becomes easier ..then they are gone.
Its always a surprise when they call....
The hardest part is to get the mothers to cut the umbilical chord...lol And life goes on my friend..
In my case, I am divorced since 1993... And my ex-wife is moving with her husband to Italy...
We have been roomates for the last 3-4 years, but this time my boy is flying on his own... Good things is that he has the tools to face today's life...
Thanks for sharing your experience....
Well you gave him the tool box..
