Safety precautions during a motel/hotel incall.

Hello guys,

I'm planning on visiting an indy SP (motel incall at Lajeunesse). I have never done an incall at a motel before. Is it safe to do so? What precautionary steps do you guys take in such cases.

(Outcall is not an option since some close relatives will be visiting around that time).

Look behind you.
Book someone who is reviewed here, make an appointment and go there. For better incalls there are plenty of well reviewed agancies here. Out call can be an option if you rent a room.
Some backpage unknown working out of a motel is like flipping a coin.

I agree with Sol Tee Nutz. And there are many Indy's on MERB that do in-call. Example Indy Companion, or for Agency Nadya's

I take mass transit, in the US, because technically cops can seize your car and anything in your person, and the defendant can be made to forfeit everything seized during (leaving after the deed is still a continuation of the illegal acts) the arrest, if convicted.

Go to upscale hotels in downtown areas or "condo" complexes.

Sol tee nutz is certainly correct in that your first priority is making sure the person on the other side of the door is not a cop. That I'd 99.9999999 percent of the battle, and is won by reading reviews.

Beyond that, here are a few things those of us who have been violating the law in the U.S. for a very long time have learned:

1. Pay a little more. The more upscale the hotel, the less likely that any provider there is under surveillance. Hotels in big city centers are not law enforcement targets, whereas motels in poor areas of big cities and in small towns are. Canada as it progresses in law enforcement activity in this area may not follow this US trend, but I suspect that it will. Poor people are charged with crimes a lot more than rich people, so try not to look poor while you are committing a crime.

2. Look like you belong there. One incall provider told me that she liked the way I always carried a bag into the room. If was actually because I like bringing some sex toys and condoms, but she felt it was a tip-off to anyone watching if a lot of guys come to her room after walking through the lobby with no bags. Another advantage of bringing a bag is that incall providers love it when you bring your own towel. The biggest problem they face is getting enough towels from the hotel without being obvious, and the traveling US upscale providers hate lugging around a full suitcase full of towels.

3. Further to number 2, don't look like a dumbass. Every incall agency and incall independent's worst nightmare is having guy after guy sign in the lobby with a cell phone and carefully repeat "Room 302" while writing it down on the newspaper he has been pretending to read for five minutes while waiting for his cell phone to ring. This is a little less of a problem with texting, but there is no reason to sit and waif right in front of the check-in desk. Most hotels and motels have chairs that are not visible from the check-in desk.

4. Perhaps most importantly, obey the fucking traffic laws when leaving a motel. Most people turn to jelly if confronted by the cops. When an incall place is under surveillance in the U.S., the standard procedure is to stop a suspected john for a traffic violation after seeing him leave a motel parking lot, and then try to get him to admit to illegal activity such as prostitution or drugs. He does not have to admit to those things, but had often panics and does so. Not violating traffic laws minimizes the chance of him getting stopped since the cops do not want to look bad by making an invalid traffic accusation. One of the big disadvantages of small town motels is that a John likely parks right in the motel parking lot that is under surveillance and the cops see who enters and leaves. That is less likely in a big city hotel.

patron good points, like he said in #3 "but there is no reason to sit and waif right in front of the check-in desk. Most hotels and motels have chairs that are not visible from the check-in desk" I for 1 do not stay at the hotel or complex where the SP is receiving, before go I always have a layout of the area, what I mean is that I ask the ladies near what major cross streets are close by, and from there I search a bar, coffee shop, restaurant, whatever. Why I do this because it is less conspicuous and you will raise less eyebrows like this

I'll be taking a metro for my transit. I'm just a bit paranoid because I have never done this before. The motel in question has been mentioned a few times in the Hotel Info section as well (Motel Ideal Lajeunesse).. makes me a bit nervous.

To add to all the previous good comments...

"Trust your gut feeling."

If you don't like what you see, the moment the door opens (i.e. the person, the place, the smell, ackwardness...), turn around and go.

This goes as well if you have any suspicious people around or in the place (dealers, pimps...).

Rather be safe than sorry.

I would like to add for you to only carry the agreed upon donation and if you are carry more money spread them out in different parts of your clothing. Try not to have the girl see you take out a roll of cash. Also don't be carrying any unnecessary valuables on you by leaving them at home or storing them in your car.

Don't try to be penny wise and pound foolish.

In the States, you also worry about being robbed by the supposed SP. There are frequent news reports about dudes getting robbed by purported SP's at meeting sites, where the SP and her (usually) male friends, gang rob the unsuspecting Hobbyist. That's why I'm so thankful for a site like Merb, which contains valuable and safe information for both SP's and Hobbyists.

I have to say though - the SP in question is well reviewed on TER and it seems she has even attended VIP-4 GT. I'm actually scared of being interrogated by a cop while leaving the motel after a normal session. I mean, I won't even be knowing the real name of the person I was visiting.

S_r, if after all these good advice you are still scared, you should skip the SP in question. You need to be relax in order to enjoy your meeting.

The Hyatt and Bonaventure in Montreal are attached to complexes that have a ton of shops and restaurants.

I love that complex and the Hyatt is great for that very reason. The best thing I do, as a guest, is to tip the housekeeping staff well so I can ask for lots of towels and toiletries.

And if you are scared, save your money and listen to your guts about this particular one. But if she's had great reviews, PM her if she's on Merb about your concerns and maybe speak with her on the telephone to decide whether to go through with it. In my younger days when I saw Indies, I'd call them to get a feel for them to see if we would connect. In any event, good luck and have a great Boxing Day:D

First off, thank you guys for all the replies.

I went scouting out of curiosity today. The motel had 2 cop cars rush into it just as I was walking past the place. I reckon the best option for me would be to rent a room and invite her over for an outcall.
