I have caught at least 4 girls in the past week lying about pics that they claim to be theirs. Why do they do that.Dont they know with tineye we can catch them.
Thanks, did not know about tineye. I used google image but this is even easier. The number of girls using fake image is amazing. When I travel to Europe or the States or elsewhere in Canada, often I see the same pics as here! Never happened using an agency, which seems obvious they dont do that.

Google images also has a search engine as good as Tineye. It's very common for girls especially on backpage to use fake pics. The usual justification is that they are doing it for privacy reasons but ironically someone else's privacy is invaded in the process.
I think the kind of SP that would fake pictures would appeal to the kind of client that will proceed with the transaction even if the SP that shows up is obviously not the person in the picture. Most of us on Merb and similar boards (clients and SPs alike) do our research and are careful about who we see, and at least for me it's easy to forget that there's a world of people out there who don't.

They might not know about Tineye, but they sure as hell must be aware that any photo today can be reverse-image searched with Google Images.
Tineye was popular years ago, but the Google image catalogue has far surpassed.
Some of them think they can get away with it. They take someone else's selfie from twitter or instagram (so many of these social media "stars" are sponsored) and then either crop it at the face or blur it out and hope it wont show up in a reverse image search because of the blurring and cropping.
