French Phrases worth knowing?

Ok, so....while I get it that several folks (escort or not) speak both French and English in Montreal, are there any words, phrases, etc worth knowing before I get there? (and if you have a suggestion, how do you pronounce it)?

I've figured out that 'disponible' means available, and 'fille' means girl/lady/woman

Thanks!

Just say "Bonjour" to everyone you meet, just this one word in french will mean a lot here, just like I say "Hola" to everyone in Mexico, even tho I do not really speak spannish.

Then you can say to girls "Vous etes très jolie", which means you are very pretty.

Once near the main action with the girl say "j'ai vraiment envie de te baiser", which means, I really want to fuck you (except "baiser" is nicer than "fuck" in french so said while looking in her eyes with a little smile will arouse the girl :)

With that you should be all right :)

A lot of menus do not come in English and you gotta know what is what if you wanna eat

When you go to Cafe Depot for muffins here are the key words:

Pomme= Apple
Framboise= Raspberry
Bleuet= Blueberry

Breakfast important words

Oeufs = Eggs
Lait= Milk
jambon= Ham
Champignon = Mushroom
Oignion = Onion
Pain Dore= FRench Toast
(forget American pancakes, they eat crepes instead)

Others

Crevette = Shrimp
Poulet = Chicken
Pomme de Terre = Potato (confusing because apples and potatoes are nothing alike)
Boeuf= Beef
Saumon = Salmon

The man has to eat, does he not? No eat, no energy for bedroom. Never put the cart before the horse. The horse must pull the cart.

I do agree, but in the restaurant of montreal non french speaking guy will have no problem, but one on one with a nice chick that speak limited english in a room, then it could be difficult.

That said, one of my best session of my life happened in Barcelona with a girl that did not speak english or french. My limited spanish and a lot of mimics was good enough for a memorable encounters :)

In the downtown core yes, but move away from the downtown core to the east and GOOD LUCK READING THE MENU. The further east you go the less English you will see.

Yes east of Montreal is more difficult to have service in English ,so go west of downtown Montreal it's difficult to have service in French

The first French phrase I ever learnt in Quebec city was from a future girlfriend who I met in a club.
She whispered in my ear.....est que tu veu un pip? Didn`t take me long to figure it out.

Living the good life!
I usually just say this one phrase to any of the ladies that I've previously met "Salut ma belle ça fait longtemps" and they usually turn into silly putty and inhale my tongue. Maybe it's just my bad boy charm? :lol:

Around Montréal...
I imagine that you are asking precisely about phrases related to the encounters?

So then there are very good ones at the beginning of an encounter:

Hi! How are you? ->>> Allo, comment ça va?

Would you like something to drink? ->>> Voudrais-tu quelque chose à boire?

:kiss:

ps: "Salut ma belle ça fait longtemps" is a really good one to know, when you meet someone again. xx

Ca va bien
Bonjour
Au revoir

Learn to pronounce and use those words correctly (which is already hard enough for most English speakers) and that's all you need to know.
