Metro or train !!! I leave my car at the residential area in Cote-Vertu and use the subway. Fastest ever !!!

I'm glad that someone asked this. I have managed to get in and out of Montreal and to park at the downtown hotels without any problems, but I've thought about parking outside the downtown and taking the subway or train. I know there's a commuter lot at Longueuil that takes 24hr parking. Is that a good option? It looks to me like Cote-Vertu is more day parking, but I actually have little idea. If anyone has any suggestions for safe overnight parking near a metro station, I'm curious....

Metropolitaine to 25 then back by Notre Dame is way too far east. Probably will get less time to do the detour of Turcot. 20 to 520 to 40 then straight back down on 15 could be an option, but I do not know how bad it is at Turcot coming from the 15 (Or stay on 40 coming from 520 and go south downtown via St-Denis street, I usualy go downtown via st-denis).

Metropolitan to downtown ,St-Hubert is the best bet it travels well South direction towards downtown ,way better then going to Notre-Dame which is to far East

Booker, from the 40 St-hubert quickly becomes a one way going north, in the wrong direction. But still from the 40 going down st-laurent/clark, or st-hubert/st-denis or Christophe-Colomb/st-denis are all good options.

Yes I know jalimon ,did not have the time to complete my route,There a few more problems also, they have change traffic directions on many streets!
From Metropolitan on ,St- Hubert going south to, Rue Du Rosaire turn right ,then a left on Chateaubriand up to Rosemont turn left, then turn Right on St-Hubert up to St-Gregoire turn left,then right on Mentana up to Mont-Royal turn right, up to St-Hubert turn left, it will bring you Downtown without the traffic of st-laurent/clark, or st-hubert/st-denis or Christophe-Colomb/st-denis which are options with complications and/or heavy traffic going downtown, unless after 8 p.m.
But they are all better ways then going on Metropolitaine east to 25 then back by Notre Dame

Ville marie to downtown is closed and get redirected on Decarie North.

Hwy 15 South to downtown turns to one lane only and goes down through Atwater at area.

So going downtown leaves us Hwy 40, then down from any of the main arteries, or 15-S

Either way, we are fucked .... .

Does the governments know that traffic causes more pollution, cost more to users, add more stress to users, screws up people mood, etc .... . I'm just a pissed off Montrealer lol !

I have been using the 24 hour outdoor parking lot at Longueuil and I've never had a problem. $7.50 CA per day as I recall. You swipe your CC on the way in and again on the way out (use the same CC both times!). There's a specific section reserved for overnight parking. It's a bit of a walk through the bus terminal to the Metro, go down two flights of stairs (no escalator)

I was down there today, stay away at all cost. Travel that use to take 10 min. at 1 PM traffic now takes an hour.

Je n'en revient pas du montant de construction qu'il se passe a grandeur de Montreal depuis l'ete dernier. C'est vraiment decevant!!! On m'a dit que ca va etre comme ca pour les prochaines annees. Ca se peut tu???? Incroyable!!!! On dirait qu'on veut decourager les gens de conduire a Montreal!!!
