Are reviews getting too long?

Not at all! I want long reviews with much details because there always something that will get to you somehow. That said, better a short one than not at all! There is not enough review here. Especially for Indy girl. Cheers,

Hmm. I thought they were getting shorter. I was thinking about starting a thread are the reviews getting too short to be of any use? However, a nice executive summary would be nice. My problem is that the critical eye is missing many times.

I, myself, write long reviews. However, I do this for me. I had met some hobbyists for the first time at the party last weekend and the first thing several people said to me was "you write good reviews." Maybe they were blowing smoke up my ass but there is no need to do this. I will say that I do include details. Many short reviews say so little that they merely confirm that the escort was a female and not LE. In the states, sometimes that's enough. I have had a SP from South Carolina contact me through TER to ask me to drop my review because I gave her a 6 for looks. She had fake pics. No I told her and guys are now giving her 8's for looks! I guess they have never been to Montreal. We need critical details gentlemen.

I write reviews for me. If they are helpful to any of you that is a bonus. I must say that there is a thread going around about forgetting escorts. This doesn't happen to me. Thus, the reason I write details.

If anyone doesn't like my reviews feel free to put me on ignore. I use the ignore function myself so do not feel bad. My reviews will stay the same.

The topic question is à deterrent by itself ,New reviewers must be able to bring in New styles And create movement And interest.

If all reviews where from the same template ,short,ultimitely in would be boring.

I guess a short review is better than none. But i personally love long detailed reviews. Yes i won't lie and admit sometimes (even mine) are almost like an erotic story but then why not? If a review tell a story and make you exited, then it serve a good purpose for the escort. I saw girls in the recent past where i was inspired by reviews, i wanted to do what guy x did in the review and so on. They are great publicity. And its true not every type of hobbyist that write long reviews are my type either. Ill admit some guys i either skip there reviews entirely as i know they won't provide what im looking for, or i just skip trough them to see the acronymes. But others guys i enjoy reading them to the fullest.

If we look at it on different fronts, there will always be a critic to critic our critics lol. Some peoples prefer shorter and will not like long ones. Other prefer long ones and will not like shorter. Then there is some providers who do not like a review that is too graphic, while another provider who is confortable with her services will just see it as great publicity.

Personally my reviews are to share infos with my fellow merbites, but also as Hungry says to please me and be a tell of my good memories. I wish i had saved all the reviews i did in the past, for exemple when the board was partly erased by a rogue mod, i lost a great number of reviews, especially all the ones i made about Kate and i wish i had them save so i could look at them today. Even tough they where less detailed back then than now.

In any case if reviews are too long for some peoples, you can always skip them so i say lets keep going with our long reviews

I have also receive a great number of messages over time from peoples saying they apreciate my reviews and would like my recommandation. Maybe its just good for ego but i really like it when it happen. It make me think my reviews are relevant and serve there purpose.

Just give me bullet points. Anything more than 10 sentences is too long.

This is one of the syndrome of the new generation smartphone. Because the screen is small, lots of peoples feel messages are "too long" when they go over a few lines. Wich i find ridiculous. Use a computer like i do, and you will see my message above (for exemple) is really not that long.

If you don't want to read stuff, don't go on FORUMS lol. The only thing i dislike is when the punctuation is completely shit. Like no paragraphes or sentances that last way too long instead of having a . and a majuscule.

I think it highly depend on why are you here. For me it's all about fun and pure fantasy and nothing else so I love reading good long reviews as much as I love when I write some (although myself I have not the writing talent as some here so I keep them shorter). For others who are looking for just pure sexual relation (which I perfectly understand) yes shorter straight to the point review are probably better. Cheers,

Sol Te and TA probably have a valid point. I need to do a better job with an executive summary. In fact, I had changed my Sweet Olivia Review around a bit because I thougth there was too much fluff at the top and I was spinning my wheels a bit.

Anyway, I prefer detailed, fun reviews that teach. You can check out my reviews on International Sex Guide where I will write it like an adventure. Each day gets it's own entry rather than each girl. I always tell people were to stay, change money, best type of transportation, customs, slang, and then something unusual always happens...and finally there is the girls. I have several reports of distinction which other hobbyists had nominated me for. They become sort of like a sticky. I am proud to give back.

Some guy write all their reviews so similar that I can't tell one from another. They aren't helpful at all.

Now here is an example of a review that I just read by SugarBear about a girl that I have been keeping an eye on. This is a real good review. We need more like this. The short ones in this thread I passed over. Stating "What he said" is not a review.

Preferably I like short reviews so this can help me make a decision quickly if i want to see her. Normally I don't even read the reviews if the girl has pages and pages then I know she delivers.

I'm without a doubt in the later category. Just let me know what her attitude is and whether she does this, this, and that is all I need.

I admit some reviewers have a talent writing them and are entertaining but many are not. I'll admit that I have no talent with words.

I also don't read long reviews.
I particularly don't like reviews written without carriage returns. Very long paragraphs... etc.
Some reviews are almost a novel.
I want to know how she looks, how's her GFE. Not the description of every minutes.

Me too..and if it is toooo long for YOU to read..dont read them....sooo simple :amen:

I'm generally in agreement with the others..I like reading detailed reviews as long as it's not filled with fluff. I myself suck at writing so my reviews aren't long/detailed.

I generally scan reviews for the bullet points, i.e if she was attractive, if she provided good service, restrictions, and if reviewer would repeat

I did have a conversation with an SP about how sometimes the play-by-play aspect of a very detailed review can come off "creepy" especially if she can connect the Board Handle to a specific date. Meaning they did position A then B for 7 minutes then SOG1 then they took a break then she did C and then then did D for 12 minutes then finally E. Finished SOG2 doing F for $60 extra.

Sometimes one full page of review turns out to be propaganda. I prefer just to focus on good points or bad points, and might skip most long reviews. Short but sweet.
