Today, I get in and check the mail to find a letter addressed to me from a hotel I used three weeks ago for some fun. I freaked! I had to provide them with my real address since I used my credit card but I explicitly asked them not to send me any mail. Thank god my significant other did not see the mail.

It ended up being a questionnaire on how I like the hotel and its service. It had my name and the date that I stayed there. Has this ever happened to you? Have you ever had really close call?

GG

P.S. Don't tell me I should have used motels, I just cannot get into them.

I am in a similar situation but I have not had that happen since I go the motel route - may go upscale one day however. I have had another type of closer call that I won't describe here. Anyhow, I do travel frequently to the US for business and stay in hotels. They usually ask for an address and I always give my business address since I don't want to get junk from them. Credit card swipes don't check addresses so you should be able to provide another address without problem.

Since I do carry on various activities, I am very careful to leave minimal trails behind. Most important I think are getting rid of receipts and papers of any kind that are somewhat out of the oridinary (like an SAQ reciept from a store way out of your normal routine or a phone number for an agency that you wrote on a post-it for example). I've also had agency girls give me their agency's business card - get rid of those immediatly.

Also can't be too careful with the computer. Even if you're the only to use it with a private login, disable capture of history in your browser and do not have the browser remember login names or passwords of sites such as MERB - that may be hard to explain if someone finds the site in your history. Its will be even worse if they find a login name (General Gonad????) and password. Be careful.

MakeIt,

Thanks a lot, I appreciate it. I prefer hotels than motels but I did get pissed when I saw this letter addressed to me with the exact date that I visited. All I will say about this hotel is that it was Special K approved. I still like it for basic needs - a lot better than motels, but nothing great.

What do you locals do when visitng hotels but do not want to be bothered with junk mail addressed to your name? Giving a work address is no better since my assistant will scan it. Maybe I got it because I never bothered checking out - I just split after my session.

Is there any more advice out there? How do you ensure your discretion?

The luxury and pain of assistants. Just give a fake address. Address isn't needed to validate a CC purchase with a card swiper. If they question it, tell them its a billing address for your company since you're on business and all correspondance needs to go to that address.

Quick question...

If you have a GF/Wife, why do you see those girls?

(just asking, I know I wouldn't be able to see other women...)

...that is the money question. Everyone has their own reasons, though it is a matter of man's ability to accept sexual monogamy. Sometimes it is as simple as being on a business trip and being horny.

Many would ask you the same question, if you are single, why are you here?

Popped,…..but I am innocent!!!

This is not a case of a paper trail, a hotel survey or the fact, I was hiding anything.

So,.... in the event one is secretly doing anything,….. and you have taken all the necessary precautions, even recruited some friends to add credibility and regurgitate the story on cue,.... talk your way out of this.

I was in Chicago, for a convention and staying at a very high-end hotel just off Lake Michigan. It was around this time of year. I mention this as I was lying on the comforter in my underwear watching March Madness on the television. I was not married at the time but did have a sometime live-in girlfriend of just over 2 years. Additionally, I had not indulged in the fruits of Chicago during my visit.

Shortly after returning home but not before I was happily greeted on my return, I realized I had contracted an industrial case of sea-monkeys, that’s right, crabs, and yes, from the comforter. Of course, I passed them along to her.

In alleviating the disorder, no big deal, we all know the cure. But, every time thereafter, if had to take a trip or we had a disagreement, I was reminded of how I must have done the dirty-boogie with someone on that trip,... as she found it inconceivable, someone could contract crabs, off of a comforter.

I travel quite often and have never gotten a clear answer on just how often hotels wash/clean/change the comforters. I will say, since my experience, the first thing I do when I check in the room, is tear off the comforter and put it in the closet, which does not suggest nothing hasn’t jumped to the sheets prior to my arrival. This may also be in part, as to why I have been clean-shaven ever since!

Many of you single guys think that once you're married, there is no need for this type of 'deviant' activity. I am not proud of cheating - far from it - but I accept the fact that you can truly love your wife/ girlfriend but suffer from a libido mismatch. There is some truth to this old joke:

A man came home from work one day to find his wife sitting on the front porch with her bags packed. He asked her where she was going and she replied, "I'm going to Las Vegas."

He questioned her as to why she was going and she told him, "I just found out that I can make $400.00 a night doing what I give you for free."

He pondered that then went into the house and packed his bags and returned to the porch and sat with his wife. She said, "And just where do you think you're going?"

"I'm going too!!" he replied.

"Why?" she asked.

"I want to see how you are going to live on $800.00 a year!"

Hotels and motels in Quebec ask for driver's license. How the hell can we get around this? There's our picture on it!

I remember once a motel in Vaudreuil only asked me for my license plate number for a siesta. I pretended I didn't remember the number and it worked! Do you know of other places like this? What about the Day's Inn or the Comfort Inn in Brossard? I think I might give them a call just to know what they might ask. Why don't they ask for an account, like 100$, to make sure we won't get away with the bed sheets for crying out loud?!? I would even give them 500$ as an account if they need it. Shit, what will it take! I only want a siesta, no more...

Surely they must know that if we go there for a siesta, it won't be with our wives and we want complete discretion! No damn mail, no number, no picture, no anything!

And of course, you only pay cash. I'll even put on my sunglasses. Can never be too careful.

My love pad (motel) doesn't ask for my driver's licence, only the licence plate of the car.

You betcha that I give a false one each time I go. They kind of know me now, they don't bother, they just jot it down with a smile..

Once, being a wise ass, I parked on the street and went in. I HAD TO GIVE AN ID CARD. Since then, no more parking outside the motel.

And what might that motel name be? And where?

If you parked your car on the street and they asked for ID, it must be that they actually get out while you're in the room and check the license plate number. Damn! There as to be a way around this. Maybe change the licence plate before you get in the motel? Or, take it off!

Why don't they just ask for a deposit? 100$ or 200$...

Hope they don't use the licence plate number for anything else...

Do you think they jot the number down and you get away with it by giving a false number. While you're screwing, they go for a walk and write the plates, this is for damages and how they find you. Missing TV's, guys who do golden showers, I even had a couple roll in their own feces and made love in it. We caught them. They won'y question your integrity at the counter and that sometimes you forget

Thanks for the tip, LauraB. I'll be upfront next time.

Motels and hotels that ask for your license plate # do so because they tow cars that are parked in their lot by people who are not guests.

5. Always use an alternative email account for pooning, even on boards like this, your email address is within the site code everytime you post. MERB is ok, though there are many others that are not. One day, you might get a slew of emails from agencies or others.
We usually don't get involved in conversations, but also make sure that your nick has no relations with your real life. We sometimes get requests because the nickname shows up on Google search.
Just to be tech savvy safe.

I started to get a panic attack! I called again and tried all sorts of threats, well you don't do this in the US. I was about to throw the bed out the window.

LauraB,

That is a crazy little story. Desperate times call for desperate measures. I am however a bit perplexed about these 'self-locking' doors. I have never come across them and they sound like a fire hazard. The other thing that perplexed me is your risky behavior. If you were stopping over with the wife and kids, you took a big risk to step out to see this SP. I doubt you'll ever do that again! Thanks for sharing.

GG

P.S. If you google 'Regnad' it takes you to a definition: Regnad: ability to temporarily fall madly in love with a beautiful and intelligent young lady....you hopeless romantic...LOL!
