So the world is moving forward. It is estimated that within 10 years, robotic androids will be a 165$ billion a year industry. In the forefront of this industry is artificial sex dolls that have artificial intelligence. This year the first basic "female" sex doll with AI capabilities will be released from Abyss Creations, the makers of the Real Doll (15K$).

Meet "Harmony"

https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2017/apr/27/race-to-build-world-first-sex-robot

The next generation will have artificial orgasms given that the male lover can stimulate her (it) properly. Future generations will have full motility and eventually become indistinguishable from a real female except for the battery pack.
In Japan, Doll "Brothels" are already popping up in many places and enjoying a brisk business. So the question that will come on every guys mind in the future is should I just go to "Dolls are Us" and enjoy myself, or should I just buy one of these and no longer bother with all the headaches of the female race?

So benefits of the Female Android:
No "I have a Headache"
No expenses beyond the basic Latex cleaning solution
No divorces
Always ready and will do anything on a moments notice
No bitching and complaining
No herpes, no STD's
No need to take out the garbage...
Much less expensive in the long run.
Will not be "Psycho"

Benefits of the android SP:
No cancellation and no no shows...millisecond precision in timing
No "DFk is off the menu"
No "BBBJ not on the menu"
No clock watching....(it's built in so you can't complain")
No bait and switch

Now please take this light heartedly but seriously....At times it is so difficult to play the game that all us guys have to endure. Guys are ready to just fuck what ever comes our way but to entice a women, it's wine and dine, rejection, games and so on. That's why a lot of us are here. It's easier to just pay for it.

So...When the AI dolls come along and all the bullshit is a thing of the past, will you be willing to buy the perfect companion?
Or do you think that the women of the future will be much more like guys due to the competition?

I don't think it will be possible to have robots that really look like humans... I mean if they would make robots like in Buffy the Vampire Slayer where the robots is looking just like a regular human, then maybe... lol but having sex is much more than putting your D in a hole... even if its not "love making"

I think there is more to look on the emotional side than the actual physique side. If VR really kick off more than just basic video games like we have today, i could see having VR AI that could adapt to you and be like your virtual girlfriend. She could be program to have the look of pre-determined models who would allow to be put in the program, and then she could pretty much ask you question, listen to you talk about your day, stuff like that. And MAYBE as the years pass, and the thecnologies evolve, stimulation could be an option.

There is already compagnies that offer Girlfriends services, basically they will text you a certain number of time a day or such pretending to be your GF. Im not even joking, learned that in a youtube video, think it was ETC news. Cost like 25$ a month i think.

Take a look at the video, I may have been editing the post.
The advances in just a couple of years are amazing. Some of the best android females in Japan look just like real from a few feet away. Robots are now capable of walking upright over complex terrain. Granted this costs a lot of money but now it has been demonstrated, and the entrepreneurs are adapting it and making it less and less expensive.
But the real question is not whether this is in 10 ,or 20 or 30 years , but whether it will result in a complete change in the male female interaction in the future. How will the female race react to real competition? Will they care? Will they just get the male equivalent? That part is unlikely. There are 3 male dolls per 1000 sold in the industry. The ratio is unlikely to change much.
I think. there is a major change in male - female relationships on the way

"I don't think it will be possible to have robots that really look like humans."
It's almost there already. At least from a few feet away. And it's getting better and better every month.
Take a look at this one:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzQ1g2Nq9BQ
The biggest issue is their creators make them look like themselves (yuch).
On the emotional side... the AI will have the benefit of access to the collective experience of millions of people and be able to react with full emotion and some of the most amazing sexual capabilities based on millions of people whose experiences are captured and processed.
The androids will be some of the best lovers ever.
THink this is far fetched?
Nope, it's coming

"The real thing is just too complicated to replicate. "
Really? We have put people on the Moon and Mars will come within the next 10 years...Who's to say these will be fully mechanical? A bit of bioengineering for the flesh, muscles, and a computer for the brain.

A few years ago there was a SciFi show called Almost Human. In the second episode it was a story about android prostitution where these AI pleasure droids were known as bang bots. Absolutely indisguinsible from a real human in action and emotion. When we are able to reach that point real females are going to be pretty pissed.

Realdoll.com, my friend bought one of these dolls like ten years ago for 4000$, do you know how many real women he could have for that much money. I will stay with the real women for now and ever, i don't mind all the headaches, it just wouldn't be the same without them. Hip Hip Hooray for the real thing, headaches and all.

Think about all of the sights, feels and smells that you enjoy during sex. I just don't think they are anywhere close to replicating that now, and I am skeptical that it will be any better in ten years.

I agree with you. The problem with a machine is that it will never be able to say no. A machine would never be YMMV. Where is the fun then? Nothing to conquer...

As was already mentioned this topic has been explored in the Westworld movie and TV Series. If a robot looks exactly like your ATF and is correctly programmed (unfortunately too many programming issues with the ones in the Westworld TV series), you will fuck her. Robot sex as depicted in that show is coming.

Who knows
We can all dream of the perfect SP, GF etc.. but I seriously doubt it will be possible in the near future or even 50-100 years from now. The technical hurdles r tremendous inspite of all the "advances" being made. Then there are the ethical questions if we start to include biological material in future robots. Energy requirements, battery technology, true likeness, programming of multiple systems in a compact unit of just 45kgs is just light years ahead of what would be remotely possible.
Just take a look st some of the most complex machines built today such as the tokamak for fusion energy production, these things are take a world wide effort and a 100 years to make if it is possible.
A synthetic human is up there in complexity and effort to produce. Now if your talking about producing a genetically engineered human with engineered responses, i don't know if any society would allow an Orwellian future to take hold of our planet

I wouldn't rent, I would buy. But to be honest I would sooner pay for a robot that tidied up, cooked and functioned as a personal assistant before I paid for one just to have sex with.

Look behind you.
I have seen a recent TV show about these robots. you can even ask for a certain face to be put on it and they do from a distance look real.... As for getting one for sex, no. As Rollingstone said, maid or assistant yes, may even take a BJ since Bill Clinton says it is not sex.

I would not rule it out but it really has to be both nearly indistinguishable and cost-efficient. I'm skeptical it will get to both of those points in my lifetime.

Some of those already exist but they won't look human. Get a roomba. There's no need for a robotic cooking machine to look human, 3d printers are probably going to get there soon. Alexa will soon be able to do all the PA stuff and doesn't even need to have a physical form.

If a good model was developed to look and behave like the former Hazel at Euphoria I would definitely try it out and give the programmers feedback. She remains my ATF.

There is another approach to this. You put on a helmet like device connected to a computer AI and it induces you into ultimate wet dream. Simple mechanical devices stimulate tactile senses. As everybody who experienced wet dreams knows this is an ultimate sex not reachable in the real life. This approach was explored in Italian Sci-Fi novel Onirofilm (don’t remember English title) some 30+ years ago…

This thread reminds me of a related question: would you pay for a chance to ride a mechanical bull? I actually saw this when I was in a bar in Key West. It was a coin operated mechanical bull and you could ride the sucker. I was trying to figure out how many drinks it would take me to get on that sucker and ride it. However many it was, I did not have enough.
