How is Mike Weir able to hang in there with the big hitters at Augusta National now that the course has been lengthened by 200 yards??????????? I know he is a former champ, but at 5'9", 155 pounds and ranking 181st in driving distance on tour last year, I don't understand how is he is 5 shots off the lead. The course was designed by Bobby Jones to emphasize the second shot and if you ain't long off the tee, that means you should struggle with the second shot especially the way the course has been lengthened.
