Ole Miss Coach Resigns; Called Escorts On University Phone

Kind of hard to believe that anyone would call an escort service from a work phone:

Apparently Freeze told ESPN the calls to the escort service were wrong numbers he dialed. However, according to ESPN and USA Today which made a open records/FOI request, there was a pattern of calls to that same number going back to 2012, shortly after Freeze was hired. Ole Miss asked him to resign and was told if he didn't, he would be terminated based on a "moral turpitude" clause in his contract. He elected to resign, so one can presume he and his attorney didn't think he could prove the "wrong number" argument.

It turns out that Freeze was brought down by one phone call from a Mississippi State fan:
