Boxing's Little Men

Historically the heavyweights got all the ink. But there were a lot of great boxers from flyweight to light-heavyweight (to hell with later add-ons like strawweight, cruiserweight, etc.).

Some non-heavyweight greats in no particular order:

Archie Moore (I know he had some bouts as a heavyweight but he was really a light-heavyweight), Sugar Ray Robinson, Willie Pep, Sandy Sadler, Fighting Harada, Pascual Perez, Flash Elorde, Carlos Ortiz, Eder Joffre, Emile Griffith, Aaron Pryor, Curtis Cokes, Tony Zale, Joe "Old Bones" Brown, Harry Greb, Stanley Ketchel, Dick Tiger, Carlos Monzon, Henry Armstrong, Barney Ross, Benny Leonard, Roberto Duran, Sugar Ray Leonard, Willie Pastrano (another light-heavy who had some bouts as a heavy), Kid Gavilan,.......

That's another "sport".

Actually I found the "midgets" to be quite entertaining when I was young, and Little Beaver was the best of all. His real name was Lionel Giroux and he received advice and training from the great Yvon Robert. Little Beaver died at the age of 61 in Saint Jerome a little over 20 years ago. He wrestled into his mid-fifties.
