This was an extremely entertaining match!

The key for Milos Raonic is to be healthy. He's suffered many injuries over the past few years & they've slowed his progress.

Hopefully he'll remain healthy throughout this tournament.

Indeed Raonic cruised to a straight set victory against the frenchman. Again i'm crossing my fingers that he'll remain healthy throughout the upcoming week. No back injuries, knee injuries, ankle injuries, etc.

In the other match Shapovalov lost in straight sets against #1 seed Novak Djokovic but his play against the Serbian impressed me. No doubt facing the #1 seed was the toughest draw possible but the experience he gained will help him in the future.

When Raonic first came onto the scene I was convinced that he whould win a major .
Obviously that hasn’t happened. Maybe because of the injuries that he’s suffered or just maybe he’s game is just not good enough.
Playing in an era with the likes of Federer, Nadal, Djokovic and Murrey didn’t help.
The big four eventually will be no more so he still might get more opportunity’s. Having said that I think he’s best tennis is behind him.I see a higher seiling with Shapovalov and I like he’s game and passion on the court,,, time will tell I guess.

I was gonna comment that everyone is waiting for the young guys to step up and challenge the big 4 , well actually big 3 . But every time we say that they keep dropping out like flies and it’s been the usual suspects in the later stages of the majors .Although I did notice that Stefanos Tsitsipas just took out Fed , and in an impressive manner I might add .

What the big 3 has done is quite extraordinary,, the way that they dominated in this era ,, especially with all the big servers and power game players it makes it even more impressive. I don’t think we will ever see the likes of them for a long time after there gone
.Truly spoiled as tennis fans to have some of the best players that ever played this sport in the same generational era ,,, for me at least once there gone tennis will never be the same again.

Wow did not saw that game but really impressed by the results. Those who watched how come he won first 2 sets 6 / 1? Was Zverev out of it or what?
He should get rid of Pouille I think. Would he face Tsitsipas in the final or semi?

For your eyes only the girlfriend of Raonic https://images3.imgbox.com/92/c9/adb746qA_o.jpg

Wow....thanks Jal for the photo..elle dit tout...lolll

I thought Zverev was gonna beat Milos or at a minimum make it a competitive match.
So I was surprised aswell when I saw the final scoreboard. As talented as Zverev is I think he is mentally fragile in the big moments and keeps underperforming in the majors,,, surely he is not a natural showman like let’s say Tsitsipas or Shapovalov where a partisan crowd can carry them through a match.
Great win for Milos and an easy one which will keep him well rested. He’s playing great right now and will likely face the Djoker in the semis. Also great pic of he’s girlfriend guys. Didn’t know that he was dating a model ,, she looks stunning.Surely must feel great to be him right now, the kids on a roll and life is good.

Fully agree with your comment on Zverev.......true he is a very talented player...true he is on the top five But true also he is mentally fragile in important matchs and he will have to perform better in Majors.....
