NBA playoffs : first round

Unlike the NHL, one can safely predict the outcome in both conferences as they are the usual suspects year in, year out.

In the east DETROIT is cruising ahead, they should meet MIAMI in the ECF.

In the west, SAN ANTONIO should come on top and meet DALLAS in WCF.

Right now, LOS ANGELES and PHOENIX are duking it out, the score is 74-67 (end of 3rd) for the LAKERS.

And yes, Steve Nash deserves to be the MVP!!!

I can only assume that Reggie Evans watched the Charles Bronson movie "The Evil That Men Do", in which Bronson adroitly demonstrated how to neutralize a physically larger and superior goon by manually crushing his testicles.

The technique does work, but it is probably not well suited for use during a televised NBA playoff game.

The WCF could be spoiled by the Lakers, I hate this team

. They are on the verge of tossing away the Suns and the Clippers shouldn't be a problem for them. Whereas, the Suprs are having problems with the surprising Kings.

In the east, Shaq is not pulling his weight for the Heat.

The NBA shouldn't have changed to a 7 game format for the first round. As Picasso said, it can be a big yawn, too long.
