In short; Easy mode = Fapping but no porn. Normal mode = No fapping or porn but sex allowed. Hard mode = No PMO or sex

I'm on Day 5 of Hardmode and it's really hard, I've been having wet dreams, my stomach feels like it's going to explode. Anyone else tried hardmode and succeeded? Care to share your experience?

This is not even healthy. A man should never force himself to go days without ejaculating.

What are the reasons behind you doing this ? Maybe theres another solution.

I tried it and doesn't make much difference. The only notable difference is I feel less tired if I take from fapping every now and then.

Really depends on how addicted you are to sex. I can easily go 5 days with nofap. Keeping yourself busy is the trick to fight the urge to fap. But after 2 weeks I start losing my shit. It just comes out on its own.

no wonder you are so popular :) you really care for our well being :)

I tried all that stuff once (no porn no masturbation for long periods) and it is true that when you finally have sex, it is better. Better erections, better climaxes,...but to go long periods is just not worth the ''pain''.

A better approach is frequency reduction. You have to find the right balance. Just do the porn and/or fapping less often (like every 2 days instead of everyday) and already that makes a big difference.

It gets easier as you grow older, Julia. So don’t worry. I can now go for 8 hours without an orgasm, but that’s my limit.

Haha that's one shot before going to bed and one as you wake up, makes sense ;)

Other than busting my nuts with a woman I have been on No Fap since March 2016. That is the same time I dumped all my porn stash. I was on hardmode for about five months. The hardest part is when you experience the flatline since you don't know when it ends. Yet when it does holy shit watch out. Maturation is fine. The real evil and hell beast is the porn itself. It totally warps your mind where the only time you get aroused is on the screen of your phone or the computer.

that's where balance comes in. I watch porn regularly, but a small amount every couple of days, like 15-30 min every couple of days. with that i feel i am still in control and I still get easy erections when I am with real people :)

All I can say about this NoFap hardmode is much more difficult than it is. You need much willpower and discipline to plow through this. There were times I had to admit I almost gave in. So to remedy this I was hardly home. I hit the gym alot. Did much yoga and around the corner of my yoga studio there is a parkour gym. Joined that too. Once I was able to have my mind cleared and able to rewire and reboot sex was way much enjoyable. I have been on NoFap for a year and a half now and it took me about 10 months to go through it for some major recovery. Still going through it.

Another tough part was deleting my porn stash. I had about 2GB of it and it took a few years to accumulate. One Sunday in March of 2016 I just took charge and deleted the whole drive and that was it.

I usually enter a period of hard-mode prior to a trip to Montreal. Its really worth it for me in terms of performance and SOGs and so on. Like others have mentioned, I weather this period through intense gym workouts and end up coming to town having lost a lot of weight and in much better shape than normal. In fact my overall fitness improves in hard-mode.

Thousands of men have reported massive benefits in their overall wellbeing when practicing semen retention (including myself). If you're interested in the reasons behind it check out these forums. They are clearly explained and you get to read testimonies. Science have not proved or dissproved this stuff but if you have a spiritual side, you may find it very interesting and senseful.

For me, post number 52 if the first link is a good read. The benefits are listed in the first post of the 2nd link

NIH recent article says Julia Sky is right on this one
"Frequent ejaculation may decrease prostate cancer risk
Thu, 06 Jul 2017
"Ejaculating at least 21 times a month significantly reduces a man's risk of prostate cancer," is the headline on the Mail Online. This is based on research from the US that asked men how often they ejaculated per month and subsequent reporting of prostate cancer."

And prostate cancer is no fun.

According to the BJUI it depends on the age:

RESULTS
Whereas frequent overall sexual activity in younger life (20s) increased the disease risk, it appeared to be protective against the disease when older (50s). Alone, frequent masturbation activity was a marker for increased risk in the 20s and 30s but appeared to be associated with a decreased risk in the 50s, while intercourse activity alone was not associated with the disease.

I think it really comes down to moderation.

Probably in your 20s you'd go 6 times a day which may not be recommended but in your 50s going once a month may not be good either. These studies are usually based on a limited sample and are very inconclusive. I think what's important to remember here is when you start feeling the semen going back up to your brain you may want to shoot a few out so your brain doesn't get all sticky.

I don't really believe that. I think Porn causes people to masturbate more frequently, and when some young guy is doing it for 6-8 times a day he is not getting and maintaining an erection for a condom. It totally destroys the penis's sensitivity. I really don't believe there is a psychological dimension or that it creates realistic expectations. On the other hand 99% of the women I have seen in the past 11 years have been attractive SPs so I don't know how well my data applies to average women.

Did the experts say that you could at least have a cheat day with pornography? Or maybe you can play it on the TV during a session and watch it with an SP?

Any noticeable benefits? You feel anything different after quitting porn?

Any noticeable benefits? You feel anything different after quitting porn?

I started this NoFap experiment in March of 2016. Hardmode for five months because I went through the dreaded Flatline the moment I started on this journey. Yet the real struggle went for about eight months in total as my mind was rewiring. During this time it was the land of the dead from the waist down. No morning wood and didn't get turned on or anything for months. Things returned around month 10 which was about January of this year. Adding insult to injury as during this time I was very active in my boot camp and yoga classes I met a great number of high quality women worth dating. Went on a few worthy dates but nothing materlalized because my mind and mood were just not there to carry things further. Also wanted to return to the hobby as the quality has returned not to forget the amazing exchange rates. Yet nothing happened with that either as I had no urgency to head to Montreal.

Fast forward to today. As of right now I feel awesome. Back then I had to flip through porn scenes in my head to get off. Not anymore. I can stay focus on the girl and just that. Plus I started wearing contacts so that helps. LOL. As I can clearly see instead of everything is a big blur. Do I get urges to watch porn? I be lying if I told you no but since I have gone this far that is motivation for me to keep going. I have no porn on my computer and I don't bother to head to any sites.
