Victoria Day weekend - bad?

Hi all!

Question for those in the know -- I'm debating coming in to Montreal on May 18 - 21st, which I understand is Victoria Day for Canadians, a long weekend. Would this be a bad time to see the SPs I want?

i.e.
a) will the city be packed with vacationing Canadians who will book everything, or
b) will all the SPs have gone home for vacations?

Thanks a lot, any advice from those of you who have hobbied that weekend would be appreciated!

Thanks for the inside info, Ronnie! You never know when half the SP's decide to take off to visit family...

Here it is just a short work week with a long weekend for most people, not all that special. Those who have summer cottages tend to open them up on that day. For most SPs, it is just another working weekend.
