Tsitsipas pulled off a Vitas Gerulaitis today against Medvedev .
After 4 previous failed attempts he finally figured him out , well for today at least

It was in fact after 5 failed attempts. And exactly the same happened with Zverev against Nadal.
LONDON....WOW WOW WOW THIEM just won in 3 sets.....DJOKO was leading 4-1 in third set--tb.....BUT THIEM did it 7-5...wow....another spectacular win :clap2:....he will play in semis.......easier this morning for FEDERER in 2 sets vs BERRETTINI.......ROGER will play DJOKO Thursday....wow...
AND great match up tomorrow.....NADAL--MEDVEDEV in the morning..........TSITSIPAS--ZVEREV at 3.......can we ask for more ?????

A very talented and likeable player . Many thought that he would have won a major by now but it hasn’t happened . Maybe he breaks through in the coming year
There isn’t a more beautiful, graceful stroke in tennis than the one handed backhand . Thiem’s , Wawrinka’s and Federer’s backhands are indeed a thing of beauty

If I had to put money on a player to win a major who hasn’t already he’d be the guy .
But so far in this tournament he hasn’t been as sharp as usual. And the way he lost today was brutal,,, not very good for his moral .
When someone’s been playing as great as Medvedv has this year naturally they end up playing a lot more tennis since they go deep in tournaments and that takes a toll and I think it’s starting to show a bit .

Bred Sob I agree that he isn’t the most liked on tour , but after the US open he has gained a lot of fans myself included.
I too had found him obnoxious but I really like his fighting spirit , his game and I’ve watched a lot of his interviews ( not talking about the ones on court) and he seems genuine ,honest and that’s a redeeming quality in my book
