Just horrible. Over 200 dead, over 400 injured. Both numbers will probably go up. Absolute targeting of Christians at prayer. (also hotels with westerners.)

The style of hitting hotels seems to echo recent Al-Queda /Daesh tactics. I would have thought it Tamil but they tended to hit government and Buddhist specifically if I remember. I would think it was Buddhist terrorists but they mostly moved from Christians to Muslims as targets years ago.

Tragic.

Looks like a few of the caught terrorists were Muslim from reports I read. Also in the news was that Sri Lanka was warned on Apr.4 about the attacks and did nothing, something about a disconnect within government due to a takeover.

I think AOC will be in the worldwide candlelight vigil/march the Muslims will be holding in the near future. Date and location has not been announced yet.

There have been vigils and memorials and moments of silence all week. The London Mosque was holding one yesterday in Ontario, and there are ones all across the UK this weekend. I'm sure there was a vigil locally to wherever you are, or maybe one planned for the weekend. You should go to it.
