He is there with the whole family for D-Day. Any bets on what the most embarassing thing he will do while there? I'm still expecting him to say something denigrating the French at a D-Day commemeration on French soil.

He doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt, but day one went as smoothly as possible as it could per Trump standards. Let's hope he can keep it up.

Unlike when other Presidents accidentally made a fool of themselves, you could at least squeeze out some humor from the affair. Not so with Trump. Though embarrassing and gross, it's funny now to think that a President (George HW) actually vomited on another head of state once. Then, the time George W went to open a locked door but then briefly froze in place as if he would magically disappear is still one of the funniest moments of unscripted comedy by a President ever.

Trump makes me laugh from time to time, but mostly just makes a fool of himself.

Not sure why this new thread for Trump in Europe?

He is as arrogant and stupid as he is in america. At least that is consistent with him. Unless he grabs a reporter’s pussy or openly say that Camilla May is ugly and stupid (because she’s trying to save brexit and Trump always attack the physical integrity of his opponent) he should not make more news then usual.

Cheers,

Who is Camilla May and why she is trying to save Brexit? Is she by any chance related to the British prime minister?

Oups Teresa May!

You are getting closer. A couple more attempts and you may in fact get it right. No worries though, the only thing that matters is that Trump is so arrogant and stupid (as you duly noted above) that he keeps addressing Theresa May by her proper name.

Can’t be difficult for Trump getting a name right after 3 years, he probably has a dozen people just to tell him the right name.
It is only the names of porn stars and playboy bunnies that he has a hard time recalling, he does however remember where to grab them lol.

I love politicians they are all the same to me.

To me politicians fit two categories.
The one in power has already screwed you but his pockets are full.
The new one coming in is not as knowledgeable at screwing you yet but his pockets are empty.
Which one do you chose?

It is like going to the garage to get your winter tires changed, it never ends up being just that, and you know you are going to get screwed you just never know by how much.

London has a lot of sex workers I find intriguing, but on a currency-adjusted basis they are as expensive as New York escorts with the same looks and services, and significantly more expensive than their counterparts in Montreal. So why would I go there? Other parts of Europe are much better in that regard.

You're correct. It is definitely expensive and I don't think most people choose London as a playing destination but I've been there a bunch so naturally at one point, I've seen an SP there. I saw the same Polish woman two days in a row and she ended up giving me a picture of hers and asked for mine. All I had was my driver's license. Every now and then, I wonder what became of her. When I was back there a few years later, the agency no longer existed. But anyway, your point remains mostly because the cost of living in London is pretty high overall.

Fradi, c'mon man. Not all politicians are the same. I want that to be true too because it will mean nothing we do or whomever we vote for matters, which is the same fatalism and apathy that leads to disengaging from the civic duty of not voting. But it is categorically not true in countries that have an established history of democracy.

"why the hell would Trump want the job?"

He very likely never wanted it & only wanted to use it as leverage in his then ongoing negotiations with NBC over The Apprentice. But Americans love their reality tv celebrities & voted for him.....likely not even imagining he'd even have a chance. But with the help of his friends the Russians he lost the popular vote biggly but through a technicality better known as the 'electoral college' he wound up winning the so-called 'presidential election'.

Now he's as power-hungry as ever and loves the daily attention, as he always has. But as the president of the United States he is literally living a real-life fantasy! One thing he discovered is that he can use the presidential office to make his companies & family fortune wealthier and better yet HE CAN GET AWAY WITH IT!!

Of course he also wants to hold on to the power for as long as he can since he's now clearly aware that once he's voted out of office then he may very likely end up in jail for this final remaining years.

But the question is: "Why are his kids there?" They are all costing American tax payers a fortune with all their trips abroad and costs for boosted up security details. The Trump family is definitely ONE OF THE MOST CRIMINAL AND CORRUPT FAMILIES ON THE PLANET.

Unfortunately I disagree, any politician that rises to the top is a scumbag, otherwise he would never get there and once he does it is time to pay back all the scumbags that got him there. Without the backing of serious $$$ he hasn’t a chance.
There are degrees however of how much of a scumbag they are going to be.

I am not disengaged from voting, I have never missed a vote and never will, my parents came from a country where their vote didn’t count and most would have been willing to die for the right to have a real vote, so I don’t take it lightly.
I still reserve the right to choose between the lesser of two evils which is the way I look at it.

What I do believe in however is the people, in a civilized country like Canada, US they will only allow so much from any politician before stepping in and getting rid of him, we all fundamentally want the same thing, a better and safer life for our children than what we had.

With all its faults I believe Canada is probably the best place in the world to live in and I have lived in a few and visited many

Trump took on the job to give a big fuck you to the world and prove that even an ignorant bully bastard moron like him could become potus. It was an act of pure revenge because Trump was humiliated by Obama at correspondent's dinner back in 2015. Still I am sure he is quite pissed that he won. But not as much as his wife haha Poor her she was already regarded as a bitch that grabbed a billionnaire husband she is now seen as the same except that's it's all in the open that he betrayed her over and over. Barron was born in 2006 which was the last time both had sex.

Fradi I agree with you to become a politician you basically fall into a scumbag system. No other way around it. But there is a scumbag decorum to respect in order to keep what's left of democracy in place. What Trump wants is to eliminate this level of democracy by openly lying as much as possible to the population because he knows there is many many uneducated ignorant sheep to follow along and make noise.

Cheers,

If you think there's a lesser of two evils, as do I, then by definition the parties or candidates you're comparing aren't exactly the same. But I understand how people can be jaded. It certainly takes a certain kind of person to be a politician. Only a politician has the ego to think that he is she is the one that can fix the problems. And that only applies to those who apply to office to actually make a positive change. Contrast that with Republicans in our country who seek power for the sake of it, and to craft policies that make money for big business. They couldn't care less about the average American.

No one except Trump knows why he ran. As of a few weeks ago, Howard Stern said Trump did it for publicity. Jalimon's mention of Obama mocking Trump is on point too. The man can't let go of criticism so it makes sense to me that Obama humiliating him was a motivator. He certainly ran a campaign like someone who wanted to lose. But all the English protests and way off-scale lawn dicks (assuming that lawn dick is supposed to be Trump's dick) are just a reminder that it's only in America that a psychologically damaged, ignoramus reality TV star can beat experienced politicians to be the President. No intelligent, reasoning person anywhere else likes the guy. To be fair, the world hated George W too and protested him as much, especially over Iraq. But George W didn't give people additional fuel by being a total bell end; Trump is a real bell end.

.

Here is where the lesser of two evils comes in. You honestly think that entitled rich bitch Hilary cares about the ordinary citizen.
I can’t stand Trump but had I been an American I am not sure I would not have voted for him over Hilary.

In the end have you noticed a huge life style change since Trump has been in power, none of my US relatives have, and I haven’t noticed a huge issue since that dick JT has been in power either. Luckily in both countries the people will only tolerate a certain amount of negative change before getting rid of these scumbags.

Yes. Obviously. Especially if your point of comparison is Trump. Anyone paying attention could see that. To still think that after seeing Trump in action is almost an indictment of someone's ability to think critically.

There were lots of reasons to vote for Trump people might have, but "Hillary is just as corrupt" is nonsensical and was for the start. Just look at their foundations.

Is Hilary a saint? Of course not. But the idea all politicians are evil scumbags is just ignorance. People think it makes them seem "savvy" when it just marks them as ignorant about the world.

And since I started the thread, I would say his comments about how Ireland should have a wall is probably the most embarrassing thing he said.

I didn’t say evil, ( lesser of two evils is just an expression it doesn’t necessarily mean I consider them evil) scumbags yes, all of them.
Hilary wanted to be the first woman President of the US , has an ego about the size of Trump’s, apparently treated everybody like trash when she was in the White House.
They all have their agenda of fame, power, it is not about making America great again it is about remembering Trump and Hilary forever.

You can believe whatever you want, I have seen enough politicians lived in and visited enough countries to know what they are about if you think that is ignorance you are entitled to your opinion.

Bottom line is we all have a vote, I will always use mine, while holding my nose.

Btw you must hate people reminding you, that despised Trump actually won so I guess there were millions upon millions not paying attention not just anyone.

Both Clinton and Trump were despised. So all things being equal the competent, knowledgeable and yet despised (rightfully so for some instances) lady should have beaten the guy who can't buy a fucking clue with all the money he has. When Trump spoke with the Irish Prime Minister recently, he essentially repeated the same thing in the space of about four sentences. This was hardly news to any attentive person that Trump is a blithering idiot because during the campaign, he talked--and still talks--like a person giving a book report on a book he never read.

You don't have to remind us that there are millions of people here not paying attention. Example #1 is that Trump is actually President. Or that the President is going to use tariffs against Mexico (and hurt us) to address illegal immigration-- something that has absolutely nothing to do with trade. Yet however, there is no hemorrhaging of Republican support for the President. One lady who was questioned after Justin Amash's town hall meeting actually said out loud that she didn't know of the instances of obstruction of justice outlined in the Mueller Report until that town hall meeting. That town hall meeting happened within the last two weeks but the redacted Mueller Report and all the news coverage about it was at least weeks before that.

I've heard people of all political leanings say there is no difference between politicians. The new one I've read lately from progressives is that there's no appreciable difference between Biden and Trump. I totally understand political fatigue but it's pretty reductive to say all politicians are the same.
