Xo recently decide to up their base rate to 230$, I still think their « premium girl » are 250$
Do you believe the trend will gain momentum ? Indy are already, IMHO disproportionately expensive compare to agency girl, but will they decide to increase price themselves?
Will euphoria follow ?
To to be honest I don’t really care about the surge, but I’m still interested in you guys opinion
my only complain would be that the ATM only distribute 20$ bill, 220 was perfect and euphoria premium at 240$ was also pretty well thought

Seeing an escort is a luxury gift we give ourselves, as Hobbyists. Prices of luxury goods and services keep going up. (Damn! Even prices of basic necessities have been going up, despite what ALL governments report, claiming inflation is below 2% annum. Yeah, right, and we are all getting younger and more beautiful every second.)
Rents have gone up. Transportation costs have risen. (Yes, most wages have stagnated, unfortunately, while stock markets continue to rise.)
So long as the ladies are getting part or all of the $10 rate increase (which I believe and hope is the case), they will be less stressed and are more likely to be happier working. It's a win-win situation for the client, the ladies and the Agency, whose operating costs are rising too.
I figure the clients will be more selective on who they see and the ladies who do not meet expectations will not get as many bookings.
The downside is that some clients may elect to reduce the tips by $10.

Why overthink the $10 bill or subsequent tip? If the rate says $230 then that’s what it is. No escort worth seeing, is going to expect you to pay more than the asking rate. Reminds me of those American tourists in Asia & Europe who literally sweat bullets trying to figure out how much to tip where there’s already a service charge added or where tipping is simply not required.

It is natural for agencies and Indys to raise their prices as their cost of living continually goes up.
It is up to everybody to find an SP with a price range they are comfortable with or take matters into their own hands.

As long the exchange rate is good and USD favorable that $10 increase has no meaning. My gym membership goes up much higher than $10. LOL. Montreal locals might have issues but for the traveller coming from the US wouldn’t probably care. If I was still hobbying it is a non issue.
My indy friends are already 300-400, they have told me many times that I should raise my prices.
Oh well everything goes up , no ? . I’d say that 10 $ is a well deserved raise considering the quality of SP’s at XO and in our city in general . Now I’m guessing that Euphoria and others are about to follow suit soon which is perfectly understandable.
This is stupid. All the more reason Montreal is not a great hobby destination. Or at least no longer. It may have been in the past according to friends. My recent trip suggests otherwise.

Heres a news flash for you, on top of their price I always bring wine, pastries, and most times a small gift, why, because I appreciate the way they treat me and how gorgeous they are .

Oddly , I've been noticing a rash of "special offers ,summer time deals , MERB special rates " etc in recent agency and indy ads . Perhaps there is a lull in the market ? There certainly seems to be an influx of new indys into the Montreal market ; which might restrict the ability to increase rates .

I figure if you are paying upwards of $200 another $10 is no big deal . The biggest problem is to pay that exact amount of $230 you have to break a $20 bill before seeing your girl. You cant expect her to give you change like a pizza delivery guy. Like some have suggested you may as well just round it off to $240...it seems like a classier move anyway. That's still cheaper than Toronto where a top agency girl can run you around $300.

sexynadya advertize at 220/h but they charge 20 transport even if you are very close downtown.. so they are 240/h and not the same level of customer service as other places

We should thank agencies exist because they offer variety and competitive price and best quality out there. I would rather book 90m or 2h with agency girl than spend 1h for an overpriced indy who you might not get along with... 10$ is nothing i always tip anyway, at least now your 240$ tip still looks good instead of looking cheap and give her 220 flat loll!
