To me, long beards and well-maintained beards are fine. The ones that are painful is that 5 o'clock shadow that feels like sandpaper. If it's too rough, I don't get into DATY. As men normally go down on us to please us, one should understand when it's more pain than pleasure and simply move on. I've never met anyone who got mad at me because of that, there are plenty of other things for us to do!

I have a beard and have always done DATY save for one particular MAE88 SP. It has either been posted in this thread or elsewhere, but keeping the mustache trimmed such that it isn't covering or over the lips is important. Not only for kissing, but the softer, and often wet, skin of lips is a much nicer feeling down there. One also should be using their tongue, not their chins, to give oral pleasure. If the girl feels your chin most of the time rather than your lips and tongue, something is not going well. Though, there have been some rare instances where I've used my mustache or beard to rub someone, which was a new experience for them.
If you like to administer DATY General Gonad style, with the girl sitting on your face, it's going to be very hard to avoid beard and mustache rubbing and chafing, unless you lift the girl up a few inches by cupping her ass cheeks. This can be hard to do for a prolonged period of time unless you are possessed of enormous physical strength and Popeye forearms. It may work on a very petite and small spinner type and not so well with a meatier SP.
I’m clean-shaven and always make sure I’m that way before dates. Just like to look clean and figure most ladies might be more receptive to kissing (face, neck, all over her body) and DATY with a clean-shaven client.
an awesome question from my perspective, for that I usually have a shadow and that never drew comments anywhere but montreal, granted that very well doesn't mean anything. It started with one provider, who was already a bit of a drama queen, so I discounted it. For instance even on her body she'd ask, is it pink (did it become pink - from irritation... no, 'oh'). so back on DATY i discounted her however for maybe my 3rd experience DATY with her I had preshaved. I don't recall if there was any positive feedback w/ that adjustment though.

I think that is where the fun is and was. My GF at the time could shave her legs and other parts with ease. As someone with both a beard and a lover of DATY it is not an issue if your technique takes the beard into account. You got to extend that tongue out, to make sure the beard does not make contact with skin. If you do not have a long tongue, as is the case for me, this can put an additional strain on your facial muscles, so beware and plan accordingly. Only once was it an issue for me, with a regular, as I was a bit tired and wasn't watching myself and didn't keep my tongue extended the whole time.
That sounds a bit like the old "painting the fence" technique, which from what I understand... is not regarded too highly by the ladies.
I do not know of the technique you mention here, but what I can say is with an extended tongue you can do any regular DATY technique, from licking to sucking to shoving it inside the vagina proper. But if you mess up, then you're going to get a rather non-pleased partner
