Well I tried to post in the Trudeau thread but a search can not find it. I understand most here are too consumed of what Trump did or said and have no concerns of Canadian politics.
Anyways, the election is 2 months away and if Trudeau wins you will see a changed Canada, the dictator will bankrupt many citizens, divide Canada and drive business away.

His abuse of power, lack of economic policies, overspending and doing his best to divide Canada he still has followers.

I know that Cenovus and Conoco have an extraction cost of about $20-$25 a barrel. What a Conservative government can do is stop the tanker ban put in place by Trudeau on the west coast only. They can also eliminate the new excessive regulatory process the Trudeau government put in place. They can also cancel the carbon tax the Trudeau government put in place.
All those things will improve the chances of a recovery of the oil industry which employs 100,000 plus and brings billions $ into the economy.

^^^^^ Yes, I expected stupid comments from you. What you posted is false,, Canada does not need $80 oil prices. Your posts here are going to be as fake as you are. Your comment on the tanker ban shows your ignorance.
This even comes from the CBC who likes Trudeau.

Keep up your posts, I will continue showing your ignorance to news.

Here is some propaganda from news sources.

If you are a Canadian and have a family you should not vote for Trudeau unless you are a parasite looking for free stuff.

The video of his 5 major lies/broken promises is a good one.

The debate thing is weak tea. They set up a debate commission for an official debate list (after the whole 2015 debacle by the conservatives, it was inevitable). He is going to those. The others are private debate invites.

The Green party plan on oil is interesting. I sort of get it - first ban foreign oil, then refuse to increase domestic production and so force everyone to convert to renewables. I'm not sure it is a realistic approach though. As a short term sop to the oil companies though, it means they have a cornered market for those years as production ramps down and so they get a soft landing. IT isn't crazy.

Sheer has been talking about an energy corridor, ( think May also but not sure ). Across Canada from one coast to the other, Whatever construction needs to be done can freely get access to it.
It would bring in billions $ and eliminate billions in spending.

Have to post about the NDP, not a fan of theirs, every province they won went in the hole big time and were voted out soon after.
Not a racist comment but an observation but a man with a turbin in present time will never run Canada, what were they thinking.
I have read that Singh is a very smart person, wish he had different values...

May isn't talking about an energy corridor. Unless she has changed her tune, she is explicitly *against* an energy corridor.

Sheer is arguing only domestic product and build the corridor to ship it all over the country.
May is arguing only domestic and don't build the corridor so people have to stop using it because it is hard to ship.

(Unless she has changed her pitch completely)

Singh has been a disaster.

I don't think he is as stupid or as arrogant as Trudeau, but he got the benefit of the same sort of "he is pretty and knows social media, he should be our future" bullshit Trudeau did.
He then thought he could sit out parliament for a couple of years and still be relevant by being on social media. That was stupid. (That only works if the press decides to cover your tweets and they just ignored him instead.)

Since then the popularity has gone down, he hasn't been impressive in question period, and his own followers aren't happy with him. He just never recovered momentum. I think unless they perform much higher than the polls predict, he is out as leader after the election no matter what.

Nah. The NDP was at its strongest when Jack Layton was there when he lefr Mulcair cratered the NDP and he had no choice but to step down. I do agree with Singh he is smart but I do not think he will ever get support wearing a turban. I am for Max Bernier. Trudeau has to go. This whole country will get over populated with immigrants and refugees. We will have a massive housing and rental crisis if this influx is not stopped soon.

Max Bernier!!! My god! He is an idiot!

Housing and rental crisis is unfortunately due to booming economy. Montreal is doing quite good right now.

Cheers,

^^^^^^ Up 2... If you vote for Bernier ( and I like some of his ideas ) it is basically a vote for Trudeau as it will divide the Conservative vote. He has zero chance to win, I wish he would have kept his ego in check and started his party after this election.

Just to add, no matter who wins at least 60% of the population will be against them.

The failure of the Liberals to get First PAst the Post replaced does mean that no matter who ends up in charge, it will probably be with <40 percent of the vote.

Mulcair dropped off of Layton's highs, but the NPD still had more seats than any other election than 2011. I think people overreacted at calling it a cratering. Still, he lost the leadership and it is what it is.

Bernier splitting off votes for the conservatives is probably a big hope of the Liberals, but I don't know if it will happen. I suspect if Bernier starts to get some traction with the anti-immigrant stuff the Cons will just start adopting more anti-immigrant positions and freeze him out. I don't think Bernier can break through.

I am reading pits and pieces of the Green party or NDP giving their seats to the Liberals if it is enough to keep the Conservatives out.
The Green did that to the NDP in BC to keep the Liberals out, now makes Horgan bark like a dog or she will pull her seats and the Liberals would be in charge again.

“Voting right now in Parliament: Canada’s Conservatives believe elected officials should be held accountable for breaking the law and violating the public trust. Our motion is simple, any MP who breaks the law must reimburse taxpayers for the costs of their illegal activity, including the Prime Minister. Will Justin Trudeau pay it back? Watch and see if the Liberals will vote for accountability.”

AFTER:

“Incredible. Justin Trudeau’s Liberals just voted NO to our Motion that MPs have to repay expenses from illegal activity. They clearly believe there is one set of rules for Canadians, and another set of rules for Justin Trudeau and his friends.”

As I said in another thread, Scheer lost already the vote of most women with his position on abortion. It was an old speech but this will haunt him forever. We'll face another liberal govt, and if it doesn't win a majority, will have to compromise with the Ndp and the greens. They hate too much the separatists to deal with the Bloc.
