    General Public Debate on Prostitution

Here's video of yet another bust:

    http://www.myfoxdc.com/myfox/pages/N...Y&pageId=3.1.1

And here's a related thread on a local discussion board which turned into a prostitution debate:

    http://www.baltimoresun2.com/talk/sh...ad.php?t=69893

I love what the anti-prostitution posters have to say:

    It's not Pretty Woman.
All prostitutes are streetwalking crack ho's with pimps and STDs.
We're all sex-addicted, fat, bald, married losers who are not getting any from the wife.
It's unfair for us to bring STDs home to the wife.

    LOL

Half the U.S. congress and Senators hire callgirls everyday.
    Talk about hypocrisy

Baltimore has the 4th highest murder rate in USA. And what are the cops doing? Instead of patrolling the worst neighborhoods in the city, they are going after escorts and their customers. Go figure.

Yeap, it is pretty sad to see cops spending more time trying to catch prostitution than trying to protect the streets of real thugs and drug dealers. Quite ridiculous. So many problems in the world, and they can only come up with.

Cop 1: Hey guys, lets make a bit sting with a bunch of the city's police force to catch those hookers that aren't doing harm to anyone!

Cop 2: But... there were 10 robberies and 2 murders last night boss... shouldn't we act on that first?

Cop 1: Technically... we SHOULD... but what are the chances we'll catch them? Besides its too much effort...!!

    Cop 2: ...........

Cop 1: Lets go bust those hookers and get ourselves some TV time!!!!

    Cop 2: TV TIME?!?!?! YEAHHHH!!!

Thats how I picture their discussions....

I see this discussion finishing more like this:

Cop 1: Besides, we are more likely to get hurt ourselves if we go after murderers than hookers. Hookers aren't likely to shoot at us!

Cop 2: You have a point, lets go arrest some hookers.
They will forget what you said,
they will forget what you did,
but they will never forget the way you made them feel.

Prostitution was legal in the U.S. up to about 50-60 years ago when a bunch of Christian do gooders started a great campaign to end Whte slavery. Never mind that most of the working girls chose being working girls because doing so paid better than any other job that was available to them. From then on, prostitution has been illegal in all but a few counties in Nevada. Now no one can remember that the reason on which we made prostitution illegal was purely a made up argument, so we end up with a big bust every few years just prior to some congressman, mayor, or city council member's election. Oh, well, I'm glad that my personal horniness level requires so much political and judicial muscle to control. It makes me feel very important.

So what we need to do is start arming the hookers, that'll teach them!!

Even for that I have a solution.
    Introducing the flame-thrower car:

Just wait till the cop gets close and let loose.

If he's lucky and survives the ordeal simply say.....ooppss....I meant to hit the powerwindow button
