Federer is out for a few months after a knee surgery. I for one hope to see him on the court again.

I am afraid that is out of reach for him. Even if the Tokyo Olympics are not canceled outright as some speculate they might because of the coronavirus.
FELIX will play tomorrow his second final in 2 weeks vs TSITSIPAS....
DUBAI....i watched la finale HALEP--RYBAKINA----great match...HALEP won in 3 sets....solid and intense game....always action when SIMONA is on....belle victoire......and credit to RYBAKINA....sa 4ème finale en 2020.....une autre jeune joueuse qui impressionne....à suivre.

Congratulations to Tsitsipas for winning the final but for also successfully defending a title that he had won last year ,,, a first for him .
As for Felix he is gaining valuable experience and he is getting mighty close ( two finals in a row ) , which is quite impressive .
Watching him you can see that his game has improved , especially at the net . He’s got Great potential and his time to win a final will come

Sharapova is finally retiring. She probably should have done that a few years earlier. Still a very distinguished career.

Agree.....she is saying goodbye au tennis ,,,i will miss her.....BUT elle va profiter encore d'une belle vie en dehors du tennis....a bien su faire profiter ses millions......et n'oublions pas tous les sacrifices qu'elle et sa famille ont du s'imposer pour qu'elle réussisse dans la cour des grands.....sûrement matière pour un film.
:yo: to FERNANDEZ ..at 17 she will play her first demi-finale de sa jeune carrière today in ACAPULCO.......not a major one...STEPHENS and VENUS were the favourites to win........BUT still un magnifique parcours et elle a dû se qualifier........the top players are in Qatar.
Good FINALE to watch...particulièrement the second set....LEYLAH was losing 6-2 in tb and wow she won 10-8.....what a comeback.....BUT third set was another story......bravo to FERNANDEZ for a memorable week :yo:.....and coming from the qualifs....

MONTERREY....:fat: LEYLAH rides again....round of 16 she defeated STEPEHENS----seeded 5---6-7, 6-3,6-3......solide performance and fun to watch. Quelle contraste entre SLOANE---en pente descendante, amorphe, sans énergie et LEYLAH---un lapin energizer, une boule d'énergie et de détermination.....belle à voir évoluer.

SVITO 6-4, 7-5... her service was her best asset,,,,,LEYLAH fought well vs #1 seeded BUT it was not enough....credit for another great week. ...one year ago she was ranked autour de la 390ème place...next Monday she should b around 117....toute une remontée MAIS la route devant elle risque d"être plus difficile....à 17 ans le temps est son meilleur allié.
