In Massachusetts, people — and particularly, Democrats — love their Dunkin’ even more than they love Tom Brady, according to a new poll.

Tom Brady reportedly won't go on free agent tour, set to hold meeting in centralized location

Tom Brady will have the home-field advantage whenever he sits down and fields offers from various clubs across the NFL as he becomes an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his NFL career. Unlike some previous high-profile free agents from across the four major North American sports, it's said that Brady won't actually go on a "tour" at all.

I’m not a Patriots fan . But I do admire Tom Brady for everything he has achieved in his career , a living legend pretty much
Can’t be certain, so many rumours out there . But my guess is that he stays and retires in New England
Why would he want to go and play elsewhere ? At his age he would have to learn a new system all over again . If it’s about money I’m pretty sure that Craft could pay him to play 2 more years and retire having spent his whole career in NE .
Can’t see him doing the same thing Favre did , changing two teams in a row in his twilight years while desperately chasing for another championship

https://www.boston.com/sports/new-england-patriots/2020/01/22/tom-brady-free-agent-news-rumors

“On March 17 at 4 p.m., his contract with the Patriots will expire. On the last day of the 2019 league year, he’ll become an unrestricted free agent....”

I, Robert 21, still believe Tom Brady will stay a Patriot.

Tom Brady: ‘I don’t know what the future holds right now’
https://www.boston.com/sports/tom-brady/2020/03/04/tom-brady-free-agency-patriots-dana-white

It sure seems like Tom Brady still doesn’t know where he will play next season.

The soon-to-be free agent joined UFC President Dana White on an Instagram live stream on Wednesday to promote UFC 248 this weekend.

After discussing one of the Co-Main card events for a few minutes, White asked Brady the question all football fans are wondering: Where will Tom Brady play next season?

Brady didn’t give him a clue as to where he’ll play in 2020....

“First of all, I’m a Boston guy through and through. I want you to go with the Patriots,” White said.

However, that didn’t stop White from pitching Brady to join him in Las Vegas and play for the Raiders.

“But let me make my last pitch. Las Vegas would love to have you here [with] the Raiders,” White said. “The stadium, the facilities are incredible. The training facility that they have outside of Vegas is unbelievable. It’s a 45-minute flight from L.A. Your kids and your family can live there, you can fly back and forth. We want you to come to the Raiders…You know I’ve been pitching you now for a month. Come on brother, get to Vegas!”....

Dam Patriots, let’s get this done.

Rumors of Tom Brady joining the 49ers persist, but it all hinges on a huge factor — the Niners giving up on a 28-year-old QB for a 43-year-old
https://www.insider.com/tom-brady-49ers-rumors-hinges-on-jimmy-garoppolo-2020-3

Rumors of Tom Brady joining the San Francisco 49ers in free agency this offseason have been gaining momentum.

While the move makes sense for Brady, as he is from the Bay Area and the Niners are title contenders, it requires the 49ers to give up on Jimmy Garoppolo, a much younger quarterback with more career ahead of him.

The 49ers would have to decide if the benefits of having Brady and a shorter title window are that much greater than Garoppolo and perhaps a longer timeline to continue building.

Tom Brady is set to become one of the most high-profile free agents in NFL history, and little is known about where he could land for the 2020 season.

One of the hotter rumors of late has been the possibility of Brady landing with the San Francisco 49ers, last year's NFC Champions.

The rumors make sense on several levels: Brady grew up a 49ers fan in nearby San Mateo, California, and the team boasts an elite defense and talented young core on offense that would allow him to succeed right away. For Brady, the move makes a lot of sense.

However, for the 49ers, going in on Brady would require a sacrifice of questionable wisdom: giving up on Jimmy Garoppolo.

Why would the 49ers do this Trade?

I don’t think it’s going to happen because Garoppolo is a talented QB who is 28 and is a guy who the 49ers can win with. I think the 49ers can win with him. I also don’t think Brady has that much left in the tank. He is now an average QB at best, and is very prone to injury. He is not playing 16 games next year regardless of where he plays.

I also don't believe for a minute those rumours of Brady to the 49ers, even if the 49ers have been offered a 1st-rounder by NE for Garoppolo. The 49ers went to the Superbowl last season with Garoppolo and i can't see them going back if it's Tom Brady instead of Garoppolo. Plus the fact i give SF's defence a lot of credit for their success for a big part of the season, although Garoppolo and the offence also had a big year.

Right now i see a possibility of Brady ending up in Tennessee. Problem is Brady may not really want to go there unless he's out of options. I've heard a rumour circulate that it's Brady's agent(s) who's been making noise about a possible Brady signing with the 49ers. Just to stir up some interest in the marketplace in order to expand his list of options and to also indicate to the 49ers that he'd be open to join their organizaton....but to be the starting QB only which means Garoppolo can't be in the picture.

...lol you guys are hilarious!...2 months ago I floated the thought to my buddy Joe.t that Brady could end up in SF as Garoppolo's backup (how ironical it would be)!
...while Garopollo takes really good care of Gisèle on the sidelines!...;)

Tennessee Says No to Brady, Yes to Tannehill!

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id...l-agrees-4-year-deal-titans-worth-118-million

Brady's leverage has been further undermined. I don't think anyone here has considered the possibility that the other teams in need at QB will go with more cost-effective, younger QBs who are good for more than a year, forcing Brady to go back to New England groveling for a raise. It's a possibility.

Boston would never forgive the Patriots if Tom Brady walked away
https://montrealgazette.com/sports/...away/wcm/5f0865a7-2b17-4148-ab5b-4b94e326ae3a
Almost 44 years later, Boston sports fans remain justifiably bitter about losing Bobby Orr to free agency.

And he only won them two championships.

Imagine if Tom Brady were allowed to walk?

Beantown would burn.

It’s very unlikely to happen now that the Tennessee Titans have re-signed Ryan Tannehill, who exactly a year ago was dumped by a Miami Dolphins team that didn’t have a viable option at QB and on Sunday agreed to a new four-year deal that will pay him an average salary of $29.5 million and a guaranteed $62 million. But before that it looked like Brady was gonzo and that a reunion with his old teammate, Titans coach Mike Vrabel, made the most sense.

It’s hard to empathize with a dynasty — even one that appears to be nearing its end — but the New England Patriots really were/are in an unenviable pickle with the decision on their megastar.

Forget the sentimental aspect, for a minute.

Signing Brady between the opening of the exclusive window at noon Monday and the start of the new league year would mean an additional cap hit of $6.75 million on the Patriots for the next two years. Allowing him to escape after the free agent market opens at 4 p.m. on Wednesday would put a $13.5 million hit of dead money on their cap, and they’d still have to go out and find a quarterback, not to mention the receivers and linemen they desperately need.

“Theoretically, anything is possible,” Adam Schefter said Sunday on the NFL Network. “It’s really about what does Tom Brady want.”

Right now he’s in position to get it all, including the weapons, from the Patriots. The Titans are out of the picture, and so, apparently, are the 49ers. The latter rumour didn’t make a lot of sense with Jimmy Garoppolo seemingly coming into his own, but on Sunday NBC analyst Chris Simms said last season’s NFC champions are no longer interested.

“It was Tom Brady’s No. 1 choice … to go to San Francisco and be the starting quarterback,” Simms said.

The Chargers, Buccaneers and Raiders are believed to be among the teams positioning themselves to pursue Brady, despite the fact he’ll be 43 when the season starts and is coming off his least productive season (24 TD passes) since 2008.

But the Patriots really had no choice from the beginning. Not after Orr departed some four and a half decades ago.......

YES, Bobby Orr (The GOAT) would be on the Boston Sports Mt. Rushmore.
