    Karaoke

It is a shame that Vocalz on Crescent is no longer in business.

I tried doing a google search for karaoke bars in Montreal, but came up empty.

Any help finding them would be greatly appreciated.

Isn't there one on De La Montagne between Sherbrooke and Maisonneuve? (Where they have a handful of Japanese restaurants?)

Never been to a karaoke bar myself, but would be quite an experience with you guys... and some ladies.

That one is called Karaoke Box. Have not been there myself. It is near the Ritz Carlton.

SERGEANT: Like a big blue bird....with bright red boots! Why don't you take the rest of the night off now, Mooney. Go back to Murphy's bar and finish what you plainly started. I'll be off myself in a bit and join ya there...

    Fairmont

I am not sure if there are karaoke nights there or not, but I remember meeting Rex Kramer for drinks at the bar of the Fairmont (QE II) and there was some dude playing the saxophone there, really loud, and it seemed like a place that could possibly have karaoke nights. You may want to call over there and ask as it seems that they do try to provide entertainment to the patrons of their bar.

I'm game. I'm also so bored with the strip club scene that I only went to a sc about 10 times in 2006. I wonder if anyone else would be into doing this? Could make for a fun and interesting GT!

I would like to hear Oliver sing "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath. There is a song that fits the singer. I would pay to see this.

I would also request a duet of the Meatloaf classic "Paradise By The Dashboard Light" by Oliver and Ronnie a/k/a Naughty Lady.

I had an ex-girlfriend in Toronto and at the time Karaoke was most popular amoung Asian clubs. She took me there and I loved it. It's so much fun and you guys should try it.

just took a look at Vocalz new location... I don't know the ins & outs of their situation, but it doesn't seem smart to leave a Cresent St. location for one roughly 18 miles from the downtown area... I would of thought they'd fix the Cresent one back up and reopen... But like I said, don't know all the particualrs.... just my 2 cents anyway....
