Is the only state that I can drive through, listen to FM radio and hear a very rich selection of music from bands like Crash Test Dummies, Smashing Pumpkins and the Smiths.

And if you drive through it, watch out between exits 11 and 12 on I-89, both on the northbound and southbound sides, as there are always State Troopers with radar positioned between these exits.

I have SIRIUS Satellite Radio.....never ending Music/Sports/Talk

Also beware ~Exit 5, 89N....driving down a Hill, they are sitting in the median between the N/S sides, blocked by Trees

No shortage of hills in Vermont. Nothing dirtier than a trooper at the bottom of a hill with radar gun.

I will have to check that out next time.

I was listening to a French station 105.7 (understand it or not) until it faded out. I always hate leaving. :(

Also, it still seems I can sail through there at 75 and they never bother me.

I've seen the pork a couple times under the exit 4 overpass (Randolph) and sitting in the median between highgate springs and swanton, the last two exits before Canada... Even still I-89 is one of the very best highways for those, like me, with a very heavy foot... You can drive very fast over 90% of it... Gotta get one of them sirius radios!!!

Vermont vs NY border crossing ?

I heard Vermont border is easier to cross with nicier guards at the border compared to New York upstate border crossing.

Any truth to this ?

Which one is easier to cross ?

I've been ticketed twice for speeding between Burlington & the Border by the VT Staties, first time I was doing 82mph and the female trooper gave me a break and only a $50 ticket, 2nd time I was doing about 85mph and the hard ass prick gave me a cite for $160. One was in St. Albans, the other at the 120 mile marker.

Oh and I listen to my XM radio the entire way, first O&A, then Ron & Fez show.
