    Hello.

Thanks for setting up this list, dude!

It has, however, been my experience that there are fewer girls working in the summer.

I once went for a long weekend and went home without having had even one session.

I could have brought my mother with me on that trip. I had fun doing the usual touristy things and eating out but that was it.

    Redstorm,

I have been in Montreal for the Jazz Festival every year since 2002, and this year will make it 6 in a row.

Over the years I have usually partaken only in the outdoor concerts. One of my highlights in this regard was in 2003, hearing a local band's rendition of the Hawaii 5-0 theme song - arguably, the greatest theme song in TV history. Another highlight was, that same year, hearing jazz renditions of songs by Led Zeppelin, a favorite hard rock band of the 1970s. Yet another highlight was hearing Paul Simon's band warming up last year.

Last year at the Jazz Festival was the first time I noticed that the police closed down traffic on Jeanne Mance at Rene Levesque, unless you were going to the Hyatt. It's a sign of how the Jazz Festival has grown progressively through the years.

Also last year, the Festival organizers set up a merchandising tent in front of the Hyatt, where they were selling T shirts and other festival memorabilia. Due to making a purchase of over $50, I received a free official Jazz Festival CD as well as a free anthology of the Jazz Festival since its inception. There are some really great photos in this anthology of the various artists who have performed in Montreal over the years including the legendary Ray Charles.

Last year the Jazz Festival attracted the likes of Paul Simon, Elvis Costello, BB King, Bonnie Raitt and others. I saw Paul Simon's band warming up as noted above - they were great! The Jazz festival is no longer exclusively about jazz but it's a celebration of many different musical genres.

Surprisingly, unlike F1 weekend when hotel prices skyrocket, I never paid significantly higher hotel prices during the Jazz Festival until last year. In previous years I was was always able to get the Hyatt or a similar 3 star on Priceline for under $60. Last year I got the Hyatt for $90 on PL, although I waited until the week before the festival to book the hotel. I would advise everyone to book their hotels at least 3 weeks in advance based on my past experience.

    Thanks Eagerbeaver

Thank you for your insight on the Festival. Sounds like a great time.
I remembered your story regarding the Jazz Festival last year.
As you say, it's more than just Jazz Festival and hopefully
with a little luck and bribery I will attend this year, my first in over 4 years.

I think since the Jazz Festival is a bit longer than the Grand Prix, prices tend not to be as outrageous.

Just wanted to make sure, with your great Priceline advice and early scheduling everyone can have a good time without a hit to the wallet.
Better to spend money on the festivities and the lovely ladies of Montreal.

No problems, just wanted to help any non-locals. It's sorta a double edged sword. With the big events, more girls should be working to take advantage but they tend to be booked ahead or demand exceeds supply for a change. Hopefully things look up this year. But as you say, the girls tend to go on vacation (they deserve it) and enjoy the sunshine.

    jackyo,

I have been in the Jazz Festival every year since 2002, usually 4-6 day trips, and I don`t ever recall having a problem finding a date or serious SP shortages.

I met my ATF, the legendary former Melissa/Jessy of Platinum, EMM and other agencies, during the 2005 Jazz Festival. I do remember I was staying in the Sheraton that year, and I also recall there being some traffic issues and Jessy being late for that initial encounter due to bad traffic, which I corroborated by listening to a local traffic report.

During the 2003 Jazz Festival, I recall staying at the Sofitel and meeting a very pretty lady from the now defunct French companions by the name of Vanessa, in my infamous ``tzaziki breath`` date. See post #3:

During the 2002 Jazz festival, I stayed at the Delta Centre-Ville and met the very sexy Anya of the now defunct Allissa of Montreal. This was back when the exchange rate on the U.S. dollar was about 1.56 instead of the very crappy 1.10 it was at last week. Anya later worked for the French Kiss Society under name of Milan.

No, as far as being in the business, from what her last employer tells me.

I think the trick is to book them and do it early

I kind of went on a whim, called the agencies too late and found too many women either already booked or only available at weird hours or only the bottom of the barrel was available.

    My fault.

You`ve been with Milan? So have I.

I liked her despite the fake tits.

She was quite distant initially but after she came once, she warmed up a lot.

She was actually kind of sneaky, thinking I wouldn`t notice she had come if she kept quiet about it.

Her cheeks got all red and she started breathing heavily. Afterwards she admitted to me she had come and had enjoyed it.

    It was quite cute.

I would see her again if she were still working.

    jackyo,

Anya/Milan was fired by Allissa the week after I saw her in July 2002 apparently as a result of a dispute between her and Allissa not related to her performance as an escort. Thereafter she worked for Aleeva for a while before becoming Milan at FKS. I don't believe she is still in the business.
