Montreal Nightlife...or, What Would You Do?

Alright.....I have been to Montreal a few times and the hobbiest scene is fantastic. But, at my advanced age, I cannot hobby very long. It's a question of stamina....my back will not hold out that long!

So, realizing that I am of advancing years, what non-hobbying activites would you participate within the confines of downtown Montreal. Is there a particular pub or nightclub that attracts people from thier 30's to 50's?

In other words, where do the old folks go?

    Thanks!

Hey, the last time I checked, a 20 year age bracket is a bit wide, so please keep your own age group 45-50 I'm assuming.

    Oldflyer,
Check out this thread and start out at post #17. It should help.

But to summarize the clubs for the over 30 crowd that I know of:
    Electric Avenue
    Funkytown
    Hotel de la Montagne (HDLM)

The thread I mentioned has some details on the above-mentioned clubs.

MOONEY: Sergeant, I swear! Flying! With a big red cape! And bright red boots as well! Then, quick as a wink - he was gone! Flew up in the air again, he did. Like a big blue bird!
SERGEANT: Like a big blue bird....with bright red boots! Why don't you take the rest of the night off now, Mooney. Go back to Murphy's bar and finish what you plainly started. I'll be off myself in a bit and join ya there...

Oh, but did I mention that I am a young 50!

I plan on visiting Cleo's! I need to compare and contrast the Canadian version of the ol' bump-and-grind to our Texan version!

And. if course, there are a few girls which are young enough to be my daughter that I would like to meet!

So true, must know something about it, you must then be asleep by 7pm...
