On a woman's point of view...

A big "Ewww" is in order. :p

Metrosexuals may be "pretty" but they are not attractive to me.

Interesting, you consider them "pretty" but not attractive; so the two words are not interchangeable.

For guys, it usually means the same thing, "pretty" and "attractive". I can't think of a "pretty" girl I don't find "attractive" as well.

EDIT: Please clarify the difference, I am eager to get into that secret female mind... yummy...

For me, it's two very different things...

Being attracted to someone is not just about looks. It's also about their personnality, the vibe you're getting from them.

Sorry, I'm having a hard time finding the right words in english...

I love men because of their masculine quality. I don't want them to be like me, to be into girly stuff!

You know what I mean?

Yes, I have a sense of what you mean. You are not just looking for someone who's good looking anymore, but rather someone who makes you happy and comfortable (and you like guys who act masculine). I noticed that usually teenage girls (or early 20s) look for "pretty" boys while women usually go for the whole package (without caring too much for the "look").

If only I knew...
Same definition as Elizabeth here for pretty and attractive. I've met plenty of ladies I found pretty, even drop dead georgious, but had no attraction for them. On the other way, I've also met ladies who were "average" or even below and felt like I had to do them right then, right there!

Me wearing make-up? No way! I even prefer ladies with little or no make-up so, for myself? Never!

my opinion? YUCK!

I can understand a guy who may want to turn his "uni-brow" into two eye brows by plucking.

I can inderstand a guy who trims/shaves body hair.

But this is just too much!

Don't feel bad, darling, because I have a hard time finding the right words in English myself. :D

Being from NYC, I've seen many men out there who are hetero, metero, bi, obviously gay, or just in the "undecided" column.

But when I see guys wearing make-up ... it's like ... "WTF!!!".

Could somebody kindly tell me which one of the above categories I should place you in?!?!?!?!

Ack... now I feel bad stating that I actually considered getting concealer for myself...

Why is it that girls get to cover the unsightly bag under their eyes and I can't? I don't know why it's "gay", since the objective of covering up those bags is to attach women... Isn't that like anti-gay?

Well, no, I wouldn't wear eyeliner or rough or lipstick... I am talking about the "care" kind of product rather than the "make colorful" kind. Come on, light fountation to even out discoloration can't hurt... it's not noticable, btw. ALL guys you see in magazines or on TV uses them, they are not born with perfect faces... Girls go ga-ga over those hot model guys, why can't we have the benefit of these thing?
