Looking for Romantic weekend suggestions

It's no secret, but the Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City is a must-stay at least once in your life. You can usually get a "signature" room overlooking the river and the city for about $350/night... They have a spa and a pool.

Another classic Fairmont property is the Chateau Montebello a couple hours from Montreal. Amazing grounds, and surroundings. They have new pool and spa facilities that opened recently.

There are many "out of the way" places in the Laurentians outside Montreal such as Auberge Mont-Gabriel which offer a wide range of accomodations as well as spa treatments etc...

This place was wild!

I visited this place perhaps 7-10 years ago. It's in Ste-Adèle, in the Laurentians, probably an hour and half from Montreal. There's quite a number of individual cottages with whirlpool tubs and, believe it or not, private indoor pools in the basement!
