I once saw in the lobby of the Holiday Inn, ( downtown - near the convention center ) cards in the lobby offering part time cell phone rentals.
I can suggest an alternative to you is to buy a Virgin Mobile phone for $69. This gets you the phone and a $10 starter card. ( available at any electronics store, best buy - future shop, as well as at many retailers like Zellers, Walmart )
