I'm looking for a good hotel for just an afternoon session.

I live about two hours away from Montreal and need to be back home before dinner in order to keep my hobby a secret. I expect to pay for the whole night but it seems to me that it would be somewhat obvious and a bit awkward to check in around 2:00 and then check out around 4:30 the same afternoon.

Can anyone suggest a good hotel that would understand? Or perhaps a method of checkingout that would be less obvious?

Outcall offers so many more opportunities than Incall.

Thanks,

Your trouble are over!

Just go to the yellow pages and see Motels, call around and see if they offer "siestas" (4 hour hump rate). If they do, that means the motel caters to the SP trade. The other way that you could do it is to call the SP escort services and ask them if they could recommend any places.

Most hotels or motels couldn't care less but you can go to Le Chablis Le St-Jacques on St-Jacques Street, It is minutes from downtown and they do make rooms available for short terms (4 hours).

2 hr hotel

If you buy a pricleine type nice hotel-easy this time of year.
check in like normal.
I ttake the phone number, call the next day say you forgot to check out, ask them to officially check you out and fax you the receipt if you need it .
Otherwise they will just charge your credit cardas usual.
No big deal to anyone in the hotel business. You problem is you think you are the onyl one and self conscious.
You don't have a sign on your forehead telling the world what you are up to.

afternoon

The Quality Hotel at the corner of Parc and Sherbrooke (actually on Parc before Sherbrooke) offers half day rates, from 12pm or so till 5pm. You can call ahead to check on availabilty the morning of. Last I checked, the rate was about 50$ and should be less this time of year. Good rooms, not a crappy hotel, more for tourists...ask for a room on the executive level. Mellow hotel employees, good for the hobby.

Do be sure you find the right Quality Hotel on Parc near Sherbrooke, since there are others.

If it's the interaction with the front desk that you're worried about, I believe most 3* and above hotels offer in-room check out services using the tv after all, they already have an imprint of your credit card. As for the keycard, you can just leave that in the room. You might want to double check with the hotel staff when checking in but I doubt that they would mind.

Do what I do. Put the room on a credit card (if you are worried about the charge showing up on your statement, get a second card with the statement mailed to your office). Check in using the card. When you're finished with the room, leave.

That's right - don't visit the front desk or waste your time signing out on the TV. Just put your key in an obvious place in the room, pack up your stuff and leave.

When you get your VISA statement, check that the amount charged is what you expected. If it's not, call the hotel and get them to fax you the room charge print-out.

I do this at every hotel I stay at (Montreal, Vancouver, Toronto (for outcalls here), NYC, Phoenix, Boston, Dallas) and have never had a problem.

Cash only!.............no credit cards.

Whats the matter with you guys with the credit cards! Just go to any one of the motels in the Le Chablis chain or do as Smegeroni sais, call around and see if they have a SIESTA RATE.
This way you can never get into trouble. If you leave a paper trail, your wifes divorce lawyer might get wind of it. Cash only. your spending it one way or the other, right? Unless, your sticking it to your boss!
