I noticed that Devilish Escorts nudged their rates up to $180/hour this past week with no announcement:
Is this a sign that demand is outstripping supply? Times are so good that they think it was time to move back up to $180/hour? Take note that Devilish was the first agency to drop rates to $160/hour so this is a big move on their part.
So how significant is this move by Devilish? It's probably not significant. My guess is that there is a two tier system developing among agencies in Montreal. Top agencies will be able to increase rates while the second tier agencies will keep on competing ferociously and offering discounts every chance they get.
Now we can debate what constitutes a top-tier agency. IMHO, there is only one premiere agency in Montreal and it is Eleganza Escorts. XXXtase comes close but it has slipped in the past few months mainly because Martin did not have time to devote to it. Devilish has a few gems but I can't put it in the top category because too many SPs who left that place told me the owners are slave drivers, forcing the ladies to work into the wee hours of the morning.
P.S. Even though it is bad for most clients, I welcome higher rates. Many SPs have told me that even $20 or $40 an hour more makes a huge difference in deterring undesirable clients. I do not know if it does but it certainly discourages many of them from calling agencies or indies.
