To all hobbyists,
As an independent companion of this fabulous city, it appalls me that my own pictures from my website are fair game to any pirate who wishes to steal them.

Today a gentleman informed me that he saw my picture at another site called www.starblonds.com under the pseudonym of SASHA!!. Normally I would be flattered except for the fact that this is an agency, to which I have no affiliation with. Apparently, this picture has been in circulation under this agency for the last several months! I have spent many a year cultivating a certain clientele who appreciate my INDEPENDENT status. To have it compromised is just shameful.

I contacted this agency this evening and instructed them that I
wanted this picture removed immediately. As of 9:00pm EST this has not been done. I would like some feedback as to how I can get this site to have my pic removed.

I apologize for any confusion over this mishap. I can assure you that I am not, and will never be affiliated with this, or any other agency. I prefer the independence and am not limited to the service that I can provide my clients.

Sincerely,
Miss Tyler

MissTyler:

I believe that unless you are filthy rich like those hollywood movie stars and have the bucks to throw away to file a lawsuit, that whatever shows up on the internet is public domain.

I believe that the law is very vague on this matter. It's a grey area.

I'd remain polite (instead of aggressive and threatening), and do my best to show them why it frustrates you that they 'borrowed' your pictures for their site. Again, the key is to remain polite, and in control. Being aggressive and threatening might just piss them off and make them continue to use the pictures just to piss 'you' off.

Seeing that they have ignored your earlier request, you could go the `carrot and stick` approach by emailing them the following terms. If they remove the stolen pictures, you would assume that they made an honest mistake and delete your threads on the discussion boards like this one which basically tells all hobbyists that StarBlonds is using FAKE pictures and is DISHONEST(the carrot). Also if they don`t comply, you would contact the company that hosts their website and inform the hosting company that StarBlonds is using pictures which don`t belong to that agency (the stick).

Maybe some of the lawyers on this board could offer more suggestions.

Thanks to the help and support of Rubemeister100 over at GTA, I have already sent an email that he composed for me....after my first 'polite' and 'kind' attempt to have my pic removed was unanswered..and unsuccessful..Here it is..

Dear Operators of starblonds.com

I am the person whose photgraph you are passing off as being "Sasha".

Your use of my photograph constitutes copyright infringement under the Copyright Act. Furthermore your use consitutes "passing off" also an offence under the Criminal Code of Canada.

I hereby formally demand that you immediately cease and desist the use of my image.

As you have not removed my photograph subsequent to my demand by telephone yesterday I have forwarded this e-mail to the President of your web host to advise them of your copyright infringement and passing off.

I will name them along with your own company in a lawsuit if my image is not taken down immediately.

As a result, your web host will likely take down your entire site (and maybe suspend your domain?) and likely not reinstate it.

So, why not just play nice and take my picture of your site?

I'm serious, so govern yourself accordingly.
Miss Tyler

Hopefully this will stir a reaction and have this matter settled immediately..Thanks to all who have written and showed their support..This kind of 'bait and switch' is totally deceptive and utterly digusting, and is an insult to all those seeking a genuine companion.
Luv,
Miss Tyler

JustaJohn, YOU ARE NOT CORRECT. images on the internet are NOT public domain. There is no such thing! Every image is automatically copyrighted to the photographer for as long as they live plus at least 95 years now.

More importantly, the image clearly shows misstyler. They do not have a model release or permission to use her image for marketting purposes. Even more importantly, they are associating the image dishonestly with services that would not occur with that company, which could damage her business.

MissTyler: Take that letter you wrote, send it REGISTERED to the owner of the domain and the company that provides their services. They are located in the US, which means they are also subject to the digital millenium copyright act (DMCA) - this can put them in seriously deep shit unless they get their client to remove the image.

Now, important question: Have you ever in your adutl life had pictures taken and signed a model release to allow the resale of those images? If so, you can't do much if those are the images being used.

To answer ManAboutTown...No, I have never, ever signed any release form allowing my pics to be advertised or used in any other forum for solicitation or anything else!

I will respond later about the 'Trellix' nonsense once I have thorougly read and understood all their loopholes..

Thanks again to all those in support..it is here that we need to express our opinions and concerns about this agency and other agencies who stoop to such levels as to fool and deceive the people who expect and deserve to see the woman/women he/she/they have chosen based on their pictures and descriptions..anything less than the truth is utterly unacceptable.

Sincerely,
Miss Tyler

I have sent an email expressing my concerns to the above mentioned parties..so far without reply or acknowledgment...I can only hope that this sort of misrepresentation shall halt...and that those who are truely genuine..and 100% true companions will continue to provide those parties desiring the true value of the provider they are seeking are fully satisfied..as this is my..and should be..the ultimate goal of those providers who are truely out there to provide the utmost pleasurable experience! Misleading photos and bio's should be shunned..and reported to their respective respresentation.

Sincerely,
Miss Tyler

I am just curious why an agency should steal the photo of an independant who works in the same city when there are millions of photos in the web that he can simply use.

Dear Miss Tyler
I am glad that all the noise helped, and that they pulled your photos.
Do you think that the open forum here helped your case or was it your cease and desist that did it?

hope the inadvertant publicity helps you out as well :) and some readers go for the real thing.

I have to say that they may be bleep bleeps at starblonds but not stupid, those are some smoking hot pix.

Dear Spartacus,
I believe it was a joint effort from myself and all the hobbyists on this board that put enough pressure on Starblonds to remove my pic and delete Sashas profile.

I heard from a few members through my private messages that they also wrote to this agency to express their anger and disgust.

Once again, I thank everyone who contributed to helping me put a slight dent in another 'bait and switch' operation!! There really is strength in numbers!!

Luv,
Miss Tyler
ps..thank you Spartacus for your kind words in the above post..let me know if you are ever interested in sharing the Tyler Experience first hand!
