This poll includes some generally acknowledged classic Christmas songs as well as my own personal favorites. Vote for your favorite song in the poll, or write one in - preferably, do both!

Poll closes Christmas Day.

Christmas Wrapping - The Waitresses

Santa Clause is A Fat Bitch - Insane Clown Posse

If it doesn't snow this Christmas - Joe Pesci

There's another cool-sounding one by a band called Sun40 (I think), but I can't find it.

Fairytale of New York - Pogues and Kirsty McColl...an absolute classic, not an ounce of false sentimentality in the song.

Walkin Round in Women's Underwear

My alltime favourite is "Walkin Round in Women's Underwear". I think it's done by Weird Al Yankovic: (To the tune of "Walkin In A Winter Wonderland")

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssa_56NzKOM

Lacy things, the wife is missin'
Didn't ask, her permission
I'm wearin' her clothes
Her silk pantyhose
Walkin' 'round in women's underwear

You can get the whole Lyric here with the tune also:

And No! I am not geared, thank you very much

Bono and Adam Clayton were also significant contributors to one of the poll choices, "Do They Know It's Christmas?", as part of Band Aid.

GIGBallday: Burl Ives also sang a version of "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer", although it seems that the Gene Autry version is accepted by many as the definitive version. I prefer the Ives version.

MD: "Boobjob for Christmas" is absolutely hysterical and fits very well in this thread given that this is an escort review board.:D

One of the first Christmas songs i've ever heard & still brings me fond memories whenever i hear it is:

SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN (by Gene Autry)

I believe Gene Autry's version is superior to all other versions just like Bing Crosby's version of White Christmas.

Another favorite Christmas song of mine not listed is Boney M's "Mary's Boy Child Jesus Christ".

Bing & Bowie's version of "Little Drummer Boy"

Another of my all-time favorite Christmas songs was "Little Drummer Boy" sung by none other than the great Bing Crosby when he was paired with the very eccentric David Bowie. Who could have believed that these two very different individuals from different generations could put their talents together & sing such a great song?? I never cease to watch the video whenever i see it on tv or listen to the song when it's playing on the radio. One of my all-time favorite songs, Christmas or not.

By the way, i voted for the John Lennon/Yoko Ono song. I wasn't sure what the song's title was until now. I always figured it was something like "Do they know it's Christmas?"

I like "Christmas is all around us" from Love Actually soundtrack, "Twelve days of Christmas" by Roger Whitaker and "Oh Come Ye Faithfull" by Twisted Sister.

Other not mentionned would be Elvis Presley's "Blue Christmas". Alvin & The Chimpmunks' "Christmas song" (irritating as should be). And "Frosty the snowman" by The Ronettes (in a funny scene from Goodfellas).

Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Christmas Canon Rock

Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Christmas Eve Sarejevo

The third song is for New Years Eve............

Dan Fogelberg - Same Auld Lang Syne

Dan Fogelberg said:
We drank a toast to innocence
We drank a toast to now
And tried to reach beyond the emptiness
But neither one knew how.

We drank a toast to innocence
We drank a toast to time
Reliving in our eloquence
Another auld lang syne...

The beer was empty and our tongues were tired
And running out of things to say
She gave a kiss to me as I got out
And I watched her drive away.

Just for a moment I was back at school
And felt that old familiar pain
And as I turned to make my way back home
The snow turned into rain

-I’ll Be Home For Christmas
by Walter Kent, Kim Gannon, Buck Ram
-Merry Xmas Everybody
by Slade

En francais, j'opte plutot pour les cantiques de Noel suivants:
-Douce nuit, sainte nuit
-Bergers l'enfant sommeille
et deux chants:
-D'où viens-tu bergère ?
-Trois anges sont venus ce soir.
