HYPATHETICAL :

All the members of MERB have been chosen to be on a board to identify and impliment ways to keep the city traffic moving after a big snow storm.

Other than the methods already used, and the obvious.

I suggest that they identify streets with schools and parks, shopping centers, commercial and government building where it is not residential and give priority to cleaning those streets first. If this is done then it will free up more parking places so that people living or working close by can park their cars and allow easier cleaning of their streets.

What other suggestion can the bright minds of MERB come up with to eleviate this problem?

Remember : Top prize for the best suggestion gets free a GET IN FREE - MP / SP pass for a year.:D

Perhaps allow overnight parking in areas where it would normally be prohibited, shopping malls, sports centres, etc. Thus allowing snow crews to take advantage of the lower (naturally) traffic volume.
