Hello folks... I know it is early yet as the Flyers are only up 2-1 on the CAPS but should they continue to play like they are and Pittsburgh finishes off OTTAWA (as expected ) it will be a HABS versus FLYERS round two matchup.

SHOULD IT HAPPEN... I'm a Flyers season ticket holder and would love to work out a trade with one of you HABS fans. I'd gladly pay any offset in ticket price, as our playoff tickets are only $130.00 USD. My FLYERS seats at the Wachovia Center are Section 103 row 11 right at the red line behind the Penalty box. If interested PM me and we'll work something out.

So now the Flyers are up 3-1 in best of seven series and it is looking even more likely that we will see a HABS versus FLYERS round two series.

These are excellent seats... I also have seats in upper level row 2 right at the goal line that the VISITOR shots at twice if you prefer ($82.50 usd) but I'll only give up two seats not all four.

I'm not looking to sell the seats...but exchange them for two seats at the Bell Center. I will pay any differance in ticket price since I believe FLYERS tickets are less expensive.

Anybody have tickets to the Bruins vs the Flyer's series, I will pay top dollar.:p

Hey, Joe T.,

If you aren't joking, since I so shamefully suckered you into your bet that the Wankees will finish ahead of the Red Sox, I offer you 4-1 ($640 vs $160) that there will be no Phil Flyers vs Boston Bruins series this spring.

Payment within 1 week of either team being eliminated or the series being scheduled.

Any interest?

I guess after last nights EGG layed by PRICE, I'd be a bit nervous at how the twenty-year old netminder responds too...I only saw the lowlights since I was at the FLYERS versus CAPITALS game, but what I saw looked really bad.

I 'm not nervous at all about how Price will play and react.I'm much more worried about Plcanec,Markov,Higgins,Ryder and the Kostsitsyn bros.

But the way the Flyers are running into the Caps goalie is troublesome, I must admit....They remind me of the Hurricanes a couple of year ago. Can't beat the other teams goalie?
Easy, run into him then shoot the puck in.

Ils n'ont pas encore gagné leur 4e partie les Canadiens. Et il faut avouer que gagner en comptant seulement 1 but par partie, c'est pas mal difficile

Yes...it is difficult watching one goal games. Not for the faint of heart. I do think that the HABS will take Boston, but sometimes a young goalie get start to panic after a bad game.

I'm not sure I agree with the "running into the goalie" part of your comment but it has certainly been a war between the Flyers and Capitals and has been a very physical series. Huet has played well but unfortunately for CAPS fans they only have one line and the Flyers have shut that down pretty well.

This FLYER team is healthy now...and when they were healthy earlier this year they sat on top of the Eastern Conferance... Bonne chance!

Confirmed on my part, settlement date to be Wednesday April 30 which is my next trip to Montreal, do we have a deal?

P.S- Tony picks Boston in 7

Absolutely not! I offered the bet yesterday before Montreal lost tonight. If you had responded before both of today's games started, I would have taken the bet.

When I offered the bet, Boston had to win two in a row. You can't reasonably expect the same odds when they now need only to win one.

Ouch!!!, Cherry is calling for Price's benching.
Premature... No one should blame Price though. Just see how many scoring chances we gave them. We were awful defensively :(

anon_vlad you should still take this bet. The bet is for the Flyers and Bruins to meet each other in the playoffs. If Boston wins tomorrow they will face the Pens. The only way these two teams face each other is in the East finals an outcome that is greater than 4-1.

Thanks, PokerNight for the help and your informative post. However, I think that the intent of the bet was that Joe T. would collect if the Flyers and Bruins both won their series and I would win otherwise. I am winning enough from the misguided follower of the Twinkees to refrain from taking advantage of what I regard as a loophole.

I feel completely justified in withdrawing the offer as Joe T. took a couple of days to respond and the situation changed for Mtl/Boston.

Ahh I had a nice crisp hundred dollar bill along with a fifty and a ten with anon's name written all over them, to bad he didn't take the bet, oh well into the VLT it goes.:)

You're too smart Joe by waiting until the Sat game ended before expressing an interest. Save all your molah to pay off your Twinkies bets. They're already 3.5 behind and the only above average team they have played yet is Boston.

I wish you the best with the VLTs.
