Montreal Expos return to National television on The Score Television Network

The Score to broadcast a minimum of 25 live Expos games this season

Toronto, ON and Montreal, PQ, March 24, 2004 - The Score Television Network and the Montreal Expos today announced that they have agreed to terms on a national, English-language telecast rights package for the upcoming 2004 Major League Baseball season. The Score will offer national coverage of between 25 and 35 regular season Montreal Expos games, starting with the 2004 Expos home opener against the Philadelphia Phillies on April 23.

"We are extremely excited to have the Montreal Expos on The Score," said David Errington, The Score's Senior Vice President and General Manager. "The Expos have always been a very popular team across Canada, and we are delighted to offer their fans the opportunity to watch their team in action."

"As a result of this agreement, we will be in a position to offer Expos fans throughout Canada with the opportunity to follow the team on a regular basis" said Claude Delorme, Executive Vice-President, Business Affairs. " The majority of the games will be road games and this agreement provides the team with the best television coverage since 1996."

Veteran Score commentator Sam Cosentino will handle the play-by-play responsibilities. A complete schedule of games will be released at a later date.
