Seems like they didn't pay the bill for the domain. *********************
At least Ms. Russ changed her personal information, partially, on her other domain

but that one doesn't work either.

YouVantOption,

Is there any reason for this post? If you wanted to point out that the site is down you could have done that without including the links you posted. Are you trying to embarrass Tamara for some reason we should know about?

Your posts have been edited and any similar posts in the future will not be looked upon with kind eyes.

Yea and why post it in outcall section, you're not a newbie here and you know the rules and where to post??? This thread should be deleted.

Banger, there is no reason at this time to delete this thread. Posters are judged by their posting history. YouVantOption is free to delete the thread himself if he so desires.

In the meantime I have moved it to the lounge which is a more appropriate place for it.

I have no reason to want to embarrass Tamara. I merely posted what is publicly available information. Google the term WHOIS. The links were included to make note of the expiry date of her domain. End of story.

By the way, I'd appreciate it if you moderators would stop attributing malicious intent to me. Thanks.

They absolutely received notification. ICANN, the organization that runs all domains insists that registrars provide several notices. If they don't they get decertified.

YVO, you could just as easily posted the simple fact that the site was down without including any other information, links or comments. You could also have sent them a PM if you wished to be certain they noticed. The fact that information is easily obtainable is no reason to disclose it or the methods here on the board. Any further posts of this manner on the board will be folllowed by a suspension.

I could have done a lot of things. In fact, I did.
I generally default to email, NOT PM. I rarely use PM. Check for yourself. So, i sent email. The email bounced. Of course. THE DOMAIN IS DOWN.

I tried to do Tamara a favour by posting the link in a place they would notice, in a way they would understand, and pthus help them to fix the problem.

I posted publicly available information. You want to suspend me for it, go ahead. I'm frankly quite tired of being on the receiving end of silly, pointless accusations, and innuendo.

I didn't see any warning issued to others when I was accused of pimping, drug abuse, exploitation and shilling. But hey. Guess I'm all sort of suspect.

whatever.

Let me fill you in on a little bit more - Tamara had her home address, full name, and home telephone number in her domain registration. I pointed it out to them by email. it took them THREE WEEKS to change the domain reg. to cover it up.

Ergo, my motivation to post it here, where they seem slightly more responsive. i'd say their post here acknowledging the problem proves my point.

boggle.

YVO,

As I said earlier, all you had to do was make a post stating that the site was down. Something like " The Tamara and friends web site is down." I believe that would have gotten the point across just as well without posting any whois link which was totally unnecessary.

As far as their response time is concerned...they took almost 6 hours to respond to your post. I believe a simple post would have achieved the same result.

I have no problems with anyone pointing out that a web site is down as long as that is all the post is about and there is no need to post any other information at the same time. You can also make the post in any section you wish, other than the advertisers forum, and if a Mod feels it belongs elsewhere it will be moved.

Nothing personnal, just business.

Hello YVO,

Your purpose was to get the agency to notice the problem so they could go ahead and fix it. Purpose accomplished. Now this is almost becoming an incident. Let Tamara take care of the matter which is in her hands. What good will it now do you or anyone to expand the matter??? Remember the old saying..."no good deed goes unpunished". I think you are done here.

Let's move on,

Korbel
